Thanks to the gang down at First Blood in Sydney, Chele here was able to celebrate her birthday with roses while suspending for the first time.

How now, spirit! whither wander you?
There’s something about flying out of a tree while attached to a suspension rig that makes me think of Midsummer Night’s Dream. Although when I think of Robin Goodfellow, IAM:Balthazar isn’t the first person to come to mind.

Masaka and Korgano
This photo is of Marc (left) and Chandler (right) doing a spinning beam with Berlin’s Superfly Suspension and Kukulcan Rituals, but it reminds me of the eternal chase between the sun and the moon, the hunter and the hunted, always swapping back and forth. Nerd points to those who enjoyed the title of this entry as much as the picture. I know I enjoyed writing it. Either way though I love seeing the joy and laughing abandon in this suspension photo, both in Marc and Chandler, and in those watching.
Eu vôo.
My favorite thing about this public suspension photo from Enzo Sata (who pierces at Iritsu Tattoo Shop in Sao Paulo, Brazil) is the little sign in the background — “Se te proíbem de ‘subir’, o que você faz? Eu vôo.” (If you’re forbidden to climb, what do you do? I fly.)
Breathtaking
I first saw this photo a couple weeks back when IAM:PirrePirat posted it in the Suspension group on Facebook, and I’ve been waiting for it to turn up in the galleries so I could share it with you. I pretty much love everything about this photo, from the girl to the suspension. There’s another photo from this suspension is the suicide suspension gallery that you’ll want to check out. It’s from a different angle and isn’t SFW like this one is. If you can’t access the gallery, make sure you’re logged in with your BME account.
Keep your eyes on ModBlog today, this is just the first in a bunch of fantastic photos that were submitted over the weekend.
Wyrd Up!
For a guy that’s been featured on ModBlog many times, it’s actually pretty rare to see Gábor Zagyvai (IAM: Wyrd) in front of the camera. What makes these pictures special is that they’re of his very first suspension.
That’s Péter Hidasi and Gergely Komáromi on the right getting Wyrd ready.
Reaching Out
Jake‘s beard is looking incredibly magnificent in this photo of his suspension with Mindi, and thanks to the wonders of tape, I don’t even have to censor anything.
Profile of a Suicide
What do you get when you combine a suicide suspension with some artwork from Swastika Tattoo in Budapest? You get IAM: Pharmaecopia14.
Dipping your toes in
The Rites of Passage team always manage to pull off some of the most beautiful and memorable suspensions. Today we’ve got two for you. The first is Bella Vendetta‘s suicide suspension at the falls, followed by a video of Emrys’ knee suspension.
Keep on reading to check out the video.
Wheeeee!
Over the past few days we’ve seen some pretty intense suspensions, so it’s good to remember that not every suspension needs to be about pushing the human body to the extreme limits. Sometimes it’s just about getting hooked and having some fun. I also predict there will be a few comments about her leggings.
