This odd inner conch surface piercing is by Jason at Schmatta in Saskatoon, SK (IAM:piercedoff). It’s been too rare that I’ve said, “wow, I haven’t seen that before” over the last few years, but this is an example of a time I got to say it.

Huh. It’s an interesting look. Not necessarily something I’d get, but whatever.

that seems like it would be soooo dangerous!
it looks like it’s healed well though. i’d imagine it might be hard to keep clean.

Looks like hypertrophic scarring waiting to happen.

Hey, it’s Jason. I did this maybe a year ago on our then piercing apprentice Natassia. She still has it, and (maybe surprisingly for some) has had zero problems with it! It’s curious that this piercing hasn’t really been done before. There’s a defined ridge of cartilage there, and it’s well protected. Natassia says that it’s been the easiest to heal out of all her cartilage piercings. Cheers.

Hey, about 2 months ago I got this done at Eye of the Needle (Stoon of course), I got dual 8g conch’s done at the same time, bit of a long rough healing process, but it’s coming along. I’d like the user or anyone who’s had this done email me their expieriences with this piercing at [email protected]
