I just got a wonderful letter from Cara, a fellow German (although she lives there, I don’t) who is affected by the ban on linking to BME in Germany (which keeps it out of the search engines there for example). She’s in front of the Brandenburger Tor of Berlin in the rain sticking her tongue out at the BPjS for banning BME with the explanation that it contained (and I love this), “highly condemnable and revolting scenarios of gruesome violence against humans”. That should be my new slogan.
What’s funny is that’s pretty much how people looked at me last time I was in Germany too.
I too think that should be your new slogan!
that is the best slogan ever.
Cara is so pretty. i want her hair.
haha, I love the tshirt:)
@osiri: Thank you 🙂 I’m very flattered right now.
About the slogan, well the hilarious (or rather sad) part about it is, that it is almost exactly the translation of what the BPjS actually wrote in one of their letters to Shannon he posted here (it’s in that part of the letter for example)
I don’t think that he looks at her because of her mods, there isn’t anything that “offensive” about her. I think he looks at her just because he’s an old geezer getting turned on by young sexy girls… and who doesn’t really.
Die is ja wirklich so richtig sexy! Und dann noch vor’m Tor, und er alte da, na was dem durch’n Kopf geht weiss ja auch niemand! Irgendwie will ich jetz’e schnell zurueck nach Deutchland, sie suchen und bissel mit ihr rumfummeln!
I agree with Littlequick that the guy is not necessarily giving her the funny look because of her modifications, as she doesn’t have a lot of (visible) mods in the photo – it’s still just plain hilarious, though, the look on his face!
I live in Germany too, and I know I have gotten a lot of similar “funny looks” on my 29 mm lobes from elderly and not so elderly people.
Seems more like he is looking at the person taking the picture here, though, going “WTF is that a big camera?!” or something ^^
Also, yah for the t-shirt, wonder if BMEshop still sells them..
