  1. Beautiful. Though I do wish the picture was of better quality; I’d love to really see the colors and detail.

  2. THAT is awesome. Guernica is one of my favorite Picasso paintings, and this tattoo is so awesome.

  3. Como dice en español :
A mi no me gusta este representacion del Guernica porqué el dibujo original no solo colores pero blan y negras…
I don’t like this tattoo because Guernica don’t have this color, but only balk and white.

    PS : It’s well done, It’s amazing !

  4. MeezctoW – reading the Wikipedia entry, “A tapestry copy of Picasso’s Guernica is displayed on the wall of the United Nations building in New York City, at the entrance to the Security Council room. It was placed there as a reminder of the horrors of war. Commissioned and donated by Nelson Rockefeller, it is not quite as monochromatic as the original, using several shades of brown.” Looking up images, it looks likely it was taken from that rather than the original.

  5. Dear toast,
OK ! That “un”official copy are paint in orange. What else ? For myself the only one paint is Guernica by Picasso. I think that copy is plagiarism. But a plagiarism could equal the original.

  6. PS Toast where do you live ? do you want to change your official hymn ? For myself, I’m French, My Hymn is La marseillaise, and Guernica is painted in black…. taste and colors are both things that are not indisputable

  7. Having the tattoo in color totally goes against the entire painting. If you understood what the painting was actually about, you would understand why it was done in black and white. Maybe you should have gone to an art history class before you went and decided to get this. Besides that, the actual lines are off, it does not match the original work at all. I think that it is an absolute shame that this was done in color.
