You know, I’ve seen plenty of all black tribal tattoos. I’ve seen a growing number of all white tattoos… But it’s a lot less common to see them combined, let alone mixed with all gray tattooing as well!

that’s one way to make a tramp stamp a bit less trashy. not that that one was trashy to start with. but at least there is some hope!

I can only reinterate what the others have said. This is a really awesome tattoo. Excellent in design and execution.

I wonder if she plans to extend it to cover her whole back like the Royo painting? I’m a big Royo fan and I love that painting. Of course if the gears were real… Maybe in 20 years.

Was there any artist credit? It looks Conan Lea-ish.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who thought of a Leatherman.

I think the white part is the most impressive part. It’s such a different concept on top of the black and grey tribal but it fits in perfectly.

That’s really interesting, I hope they go for a whole back piece inspired by the painting.

The white part reminds me (and I see I’m not the only one) of a crazy folding knife.

If you look at the full size painting closely (http://www.drachenwald.de/pic/luis_royo_tattoos012.jpg) you can totally see that it continues down the legs and on that it isn’t only on her back and arms as it seems to continue to her front from the side of her right bum cheek. Id really love to see a full body piece inspired by the painting. Would be ill.
