Orchids in the Wind

It’s time for another piece of art from the masters of Hong Kong’s Tattoo Temple.  This orchid by Wang really highlights the paintbrush style that he specializes in.  What’s really cool is if you look close, you can see that he added what looks like pollen in the wind on the top of her shoulder, giving the tattoo an even greater sense of movement.

Encircled by the Flight of a Bird

Fans of artist Joan Miro will recognize this instantly.  Jamie from Tattoo Temple in Hong Kong has reproduced Miro’s “Woman Encircled by the Flight of a Bird” on this young man’s forearm.  By taking a look at the original, it’s safe to say Jamie definitely faithfully reproduced the painting even with the change in medium.

Out of the blue

I’m now completely convinced that the artists at Tattoo Temple in Hong Kong are some kind of magical beings.  They don’t use tattoo needles, they use magic to capture the essence of their subject and infuse it into the skin of their clients.  Check out this bird that Wang did for his client Annie.
