Toe Up

Clearly, I am out of shape, because I swear I felt my goddamn hip shattering just looking at these pictures of Justin and Paul twisting and contorting themselves to stick their toes into their stretched lobes. Says MobyK:

Justin and Paul in Sydney in 2006 demonstrating they can insert a toe into a lobe. They succeeded but neither was able to get in both toes into the two ears. [Ed. note: Amateurs.] The hands on the beads are just holding hair away to take the pictures.

See the culmination of Justin’s attempt, as well as Paul’s own journey, after the jump.

  1. I like how there is someone holding their hair back in all of the pictures.

    serious business.

  2. I’m impressed with the dexterity of these boys, but if I never see another foot in another ear in my life it’ll be too soon.

P.S. Its the “feet” thing not the “toes thru lobes” thing.

  3. yeah trust me, ripping an earring out isnt something you wanna do, been there done it.

  4. cant say i havent tried this. though i will admit i was intoxicated and it wasnt my idea.

    love the ed. note! hahaha

  5. Haha for some reason this makes me want to stretch my lobes bigger just so I can…but at a measly half inch…I couldn’t fit my toe through. Mind you…it’s not too hard to get your toes up there…at least on one foot. Both would be wayyyy beyond me.

    Nice human tricks boys. 🙂

  6. wooo! go sydney siders!

  9. It doesnt take alot of flexibility to do this, honestly. I can get both legs behind my head no problem.

  10. Sara: I can get both of me feet behind me head too, but getting your toes through both your lobes is harder. I tried it, and I think I could do it, if my lobes were big enough for my toes to go through.

  11. I was wondering if the story about these pics was just an urban legend. I should never have doubted the guys who suspended me in the Kern River Canyon. Justin and Paul–you rock.
