I didn’t even know that oranges in Kuala Lumpur would have Sunkist stickers on them…
I actually find it quite sociologically fascinating that the oranges in these rituals are from a mass-market grocery store. I guess it’s not surprising when you think about it objectively, but it seems to contrast with the ritual a little, a funny collision of old-world spirituality and new-world corporatism.
Yeah..somehow the sunkist sticker just taints it. Other than that, it’s a really cool idea. I bet he smelled good ^_^
ouch! there aint much skin between them hooks
all i can think of is getting orange juice in an open cut.
addayak – In general, at least in my experience, if you hook more lightly, you’re going to get more sensation.

but isnt there more chance of the skin breaking? or is that the rush? the possibilty it could break at any moment
