Aww, crap!

This heat wave (among other things) has blown the power supply in my main laptop that has all of my BME and ModBlog stuff on it (don’t worry, I’ve condfirmed everything is safe). I’ll replace it tomorrow morning in some way, but until then I’m basically offline… Thus I apologize for the lack of the promised BME and ModBlog updates!

SLUT tattoo

My feeling is that if you’re able to see the tattoo, you are either aware of the fact, or you’d rather not know if you don’t already. In any case, this one is by Josh at East Looe Tattoo in the UK. I realize it’s not the forehead, but I wonder how people feel about this in relation to the largely denounced STUPID tattoo — this is certainly visible in, for example, a bathing suit.

PS. This is not the first time I’ve posted tattooed sluts.

Now where’s my Cat-7 cable?

What, you don’t have an RJ45 port on the back of your head (no, it’s not a robot)? Some computer geek you are then, sheesh. Tattoo by Illya at Tattoo Mania in West Hollywood, CA.

Anyway, I have a busy few days ahead, and then a month of heavy software development (some BME/IAM related, some not), so the next BME update may be postponed until Wednesday, and I’ll probably have to post here less frequently over the next month. Luckily the guest blogging seems to be turning out so far (such as this ear piercing gun horror story by Lexci).

Resurrection Suspension

I’ve mentioned on more than one occasion that I think resurrection suspensions are one of the prettiest forms by far, and how happy I am that Steve Truitt and the record holding and celebrity studded Ascension Suspension Team out of Albuquerque, NM are regular contributors (and not just because of the gratuitous involvement of pretty girls in their shows, honest).

I really love the pink girlie star-punched suspension rig above, as well as the spiderweb in the pictures below (and I’ve previously commented on their pentagram rig as well).

Oh yeah, and here’s what happens to bad girls who suspend.

First Microdermals in Place

Check out these new “microdermals” (jewelry by JD) by John at Scarab in Syracuse, NY. My feeling is that transdermals, at least the current “labret clover” technology, have too low a success rate, so I’m very interested in dermal anchors like these (which even if they don’t have a higher success rate in the end, at least are easy to remove, unlikely to go toxic, and don’t leave a major scar).
