Yeah, yeah, I know, I said I wasn’t posting today, but I can’t stop myself. Just one more. This is from the “Satiated Siren” painting (what does it take to satiate a siren?) by Gustav Mossa, done by Emily at Urge in my hometown of Victoria, BC.
My feeling is that if you’re able to see the tattoo, you are either aware of the fact, or you’d rather not know if you don’t already. In any case, this one is by Josh at East Looe Tattoo in the UK. I realize it’s not the forehead, but I wonder how people feel about this in relation to the largely denounced STUPID tattoo — this is certainly visible in, for example, a bathing suit.

Anyway, I have a busy few days ahead, and then a month of heavy software development (some BME/IAM related, some not), so the next BME update may be postponed until Wednesday, and I’ll probably have to post here less frequently over the next month. I’m going to make the claim that Pauly Unstoppable has not only the largest nostril piercings of anyone living in Indiana, but I’d say in Western culture as a whole, and I’m also going to claim that he has the largest nostril piercings of any living person.
What do you think? Know anyone bigger? Pauly’s are currently 1 1/8″ each, done in ebony with nice inlays, made to match the large plugs he wears in his ears.
I recently (BMEfest) got to see them in person and they look amazing. His nose is an entirely new shape, and it’s quite stunning… and whether you like the look or not I hope you agree that he deserves a lot of credit for the courage to go ahead and choose an aesthetic that’s radically outside the mainstream.
