It’s always a good day when I check the image galleries and see new photos from Tattoo Temple. Wang‘s Chinese Family Landscape is one of those pieces where it seems like the tattoo is an extension of the skin, rather than being a piece of artwork on top of it.

You may have noticed it’s been a little quiet here. Rob is dealing with some medical issues and hasn’t been able to post anything to ModBlog for a few days. It seems we’re all experiencing medical issues lately or maybe we’re just getting old! Rob should be back at it by tomorrow.
Here’s a tattoo that caught my eye. It was inked by Cliff Ziegler of Zebra Tattooz in Streetsboro, Ohio.
I think it’s the way the raven is staring the viewer down that caught my eye. Maybe I should have titled this “Fuck you,” said the Raven.

What? Did you expect me to say “There is no Zombie Club“? Screw that, when the zombie apocalypse happens you’re either in the club or you’re dead.
So while I was carving my pumpkin the other night, I was thinking to myself, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen a BME/Modification related pumpkin. So I’m throwing the gauntlet down, I want to see the best of the best when it comes to pumpkin carving. There are lots of talented people out there, so lets see what you can do to make a modified pumpkin (bonus points if you include a BME logo). Once you’ve carved your pumpkin, simply upload it to the BME Culture gallery. Myself and Jen (she doesn’t know this yet) will go over all the entries and the winner(s) will be featured next week. Given how the bold sun contrasts against the almost minimalistic city, this original piece by Joey Pang is a great example of how skilled she is with a needle.
People sometimes give me flack because they think I always post BMEBoys and BMEGirls that are naked (or close to it). Well Seeeingred here is fully clothed, and is still a handsome devil, so there goes that theory.
