May Thy Perogi dwell always in our bellies!
May Thy Sour Cream ever flow over the dough of our souls!
O fillings of our Perogi, Thou givest flavour to all things by the cheese and potatoes of Thy goodness!
I will not go until Thy Perogi has strengthened me, O Chef!
May the Perogi of The Plate be the King of my belly!
Blessed be Perogi. Amen.
A word of thanks to parishioner Burningbridges for submitting this image of the Sacred Perogi to the tattoo galleries.

That’s really cute. I have a real weakness for unusual tattoos.
Also, I happen to love pierogies.

@Someone: I grew up spelling it that way and I lived in an area with a lot of Polish immigrants. Maybe it’s a Polish Canadian thing.

Looks like SOMEONE just wants to argue under the guise of enlightenment?
I figure that its likely an interchangable spelling much like Chanukah vs Hanukkah, a personal preference depending on how elitist you want to sound, and sorbet vs sherbert just sayin’ I am looking at a bag of PEROGIES right now, and if I had sour cream I’d be eating them

mmm Pierogi’s You have to half half kraut and bacon and half potato and cheese fried golden brown in butter and smothered in sour cream… And another Polish and classically trained Chef perspective They are pierogies, and perogi is actually a bastardized version of the word and also a brand name of a bagged variety,
kendall sorbet and sherbet are to very different things..Sorbet is frozen or iced fruit juice and sherbet is both a fizzy powder or a drink…Or a frozen dessert made with fruit juice, dairy and sometimes eggs,
Either way this Tattoo is a masterpiece….

Or maybe someone is just proud of their heritage, and since SOMEONE is fluent in Polish, maybe they know the correct spelling of the word.
Just sayin’. No need to be a jerk about it, Kendall.

Ok, enough of the spelling debate. Checking the wiki entry there are around 10 different spelling variations.
All that matters is the love of perogies!

@ 7. I seriously was a Sobey’s tonight looking at frozen dessert treats, and it seems that fruit based ice treat things in a bucket are called either/or @8. I am reading fruit and frozen in both of your answers @10, As a Canadian maybe it IS a Canadian spelling thing, but why would a company allow for a typo? *rolls eyes* can’t be a single canadian pole, right? or else we’d spell it right

i just feel the need to express my disbelief at how anyone would take a the sacredness of the Perogi in vain!!
as the child of Perogi parents and a mixed Perogi heritage i am deeply disturbed by the lack of sauerkraut and mustard!
please look into your hearts and find the Perogi in each one of you…
