Holy crap that’s intense!

Not only is this a giant gauge and very deep pubic piercing, but the jewelry is brutally DIY (outside of metal issues, that’s some serious threading to pull through)… and even more insane, the piercing “needle” is just a sharpened piece of rubber tubing. Seriously, this feels like one of the more intense DIY things I’ve seen recently.

It looks like it might be possible that he pulled the nut end through, instead of the threaded end. But, yeah, nonetheless.

it looks like the hole is bigger than the bolt thing, maybe he wrapped some tape or something around the threads to get it in?

since a lot of people seem to be commenting on thins one i thought i’d ask an unrelated question…does a sparrow tattoo have any meaning beyond “i like this bird”?

funny you should ask – sparrows usually signify having heavy genital work done.

I always though sparrows symbolised freedom (the reason I’m getting mine), but I’ve also heard that sailors got them after travelling 5000 nautical miles?

outmywindow – why would there be any removed flesh? Even if it was a piece of rubber tubing(ouch!) it still looks bevelled to me, so it would work exactly like a piercing needle, cutting a crescent shaped hole and stretching it open.

Poppie (and out my window) – would rubber tubing be stonrg enough to pierce flesh? To me it looks more like hard plastic. Similar to cheap pens?

If you think about it the skin in that area isnt particuly thick, so it shouldn’t take much to pierce.

Shannon said it was rubber, it kinda looks like slightly bendy plastic tubing – but that could just be ’cause its bent from the force needed to push it through. Either way, it wont be as sharp as a needle and it probably took a lot of effort and stamina to push it through!
