  1. Eeee Beatles reference!

I play too much D&D, if there is such a thing as “too much D&D” so to me he looks like a deformed half-orc.

Hope he doesn’t take that as an insult, I think he’s rather handsome…

  2. if you can get that dog to do a photo shoot with me i’m totally down! thanks to all of you who’ve been saying nice things.

  3. The peircings are not my cup of tea, but I cracked up from the “iam: the walrus” he he he….

  4. “The time has come,” the Walrus said, “to talk of many things:

Of shoes, and ships, and sealing-wax,

    Of cabbages, and kings,

And why the sea is boiling hot,

    And whether pigs have wings.”

Just to to give some degree of completion to walrus references.

Ought to get a curved set made, I imagine that’d be more comfortable for daily wear.

  5. Why do people feel the need to tell others that they “.. can’t STAND looking at it”? In CAPITALS, too?

  6. did anyone think “Shut the fuck up Donny!”? haha i love the big Lebowski

  7. dang look at jusn making it big time. mod blog and the cover boy. i thought i was a celeb when i made mod blog. your like some uber celeb.

  8. Perhaps, Jesus, people enjoy the fact that any hint of a negative opinion provokes howls of whining from a certain element around here.

Some people don’t like the tusks, and they’re saying so. You’ll be okay, I promise. Modblog will still be here tomorrow.

  9. I love this. I find it really cute :D I love how someone quoted alice n wonderland too .

  10. That looks absolutely and utterly ridiculous. I looked at this picture for a good 5 minutes. I cant see any appeal whatsoever in these piercings.

  11. I can’t understand why someone would want to be walking around like this. Not that it disturbs me in a way or that I find it inappropriate or that I find it rude or something… I mean, there is no way you can talk or eat properly with these huge tusks dangling from your lower lip…
It had a ‘photogenic’ quality I think, but merely as something that’s very rare just because it’s just not comfy.

  12. @toast:

That’s from a book right? About some guy’s long lost uncle? I can’t remember the title but I loved that book when I was a kid…

  13. hahaha that picture makes me giggle.. something about the expression on his face..

  14. Tokyowars – it’s from The Walrus and the Carpenter, by Lewis Carroll. It was in Through The Looking Glass (the Alice book after “~in Wonderland”).

  15. oh wow hes so cute, but is this like his regular jewelry or just for the picture?

  16. I guess not #54. He would probably not be able to talk decently.
Anyway, it looks funny and cute. ^^
But I hope he doesn’t wear that all the time.

  17. i personally think his star wars tattoos are the best. although his scarification is great in person.

  18. Lisa, (54) for the most part it’s my regualr jewelry, i haven’t had it very long though. And i can talk fine with them in!!

again, thanks to everyone saying nice things!!

  19. Walrus dude, do they always hang down like that or like when you close your mouth do they pop up and poke forwards?

  20. The Inuit tribes used to wear tusks through their labrets to look like a walrus. It was said to give them good luck while hunting.

  21. You look fun.
I give you mad props for doing this.
good job, you are officially in Sam’s book of awesomeness.

  22. @toast: the book I was confusing it with was “Letters from a long lost uncle” by Mervyn Peake. Lots of Walrus action in there too! (Albiet slightly less popular pop culture references…lol)

  23. No words can express how cute this is. Walruses are my second favorite creature.. maybe I can get hippo teeth implants and we can start a BME knock off called BMEzoo
