Tatjanaturtle is (among other things) a designer, thus her great new “CADD GIRL” tattoo (computer-aided design and drafting)… This is one of my favorite “nerdy tattoos” to date I think, probably because I took so many years of drafting and architechture classes! Joy (see also theMilkMaid.com) just finished off Bumble (see also BellaVendetta.com)’s armpit BME tattoos. If someone hot gets a BME logo tattoo, I’m allowed to include them in my perverse daydreams, right? I suppose one doesn’t need permission for things like that.

Thanks to CrucifyEffigy for sending in her tattoo done by Brett Osborne at PURE in Brooklyn, NYC (which you’ve seen mentioned here regularly due to the work of fellow artists Brian and Joy Rumore, who also did the great dog portrait tattoo on her).
OK, I didn’t think I was going to post anything else today but this piece is just so sweet that I had to add it. It’s on tigricula and was originally a kind of crappy tattoo. Then Brian (click on his name, he loves it when you do that), and then once it was well healed, it was touched up with tattooing by The Milkmaid (both at PURE in NYC).
It’s my personal believe that some of the high detail scarification that’s being done these days may not stand the test of time, but when you combine scarification with tattooing, you almost create an altogether new form of body art that I think we’ll see much more of in the future!

It’s funny, I try not to feature one artist more than others on ModBlog, and when I’m choosing which pictures to add, they’re from a folder of stuff Phil has put aside for me and I don’t even see who did it until I write the entry. But still, for some reason, certain people keep getting featured… Thanks again to Joy Rumore for another (remember the dog portrait tattoo posted recently) very nice tattoo, this time of a stylized heart that I think many will enjoy.
I know this must seem like it’s starting to be Joy Rumore‘s photoblog, but she does seem to keep on doing post-able art… Here’s what Peck just had her apply to his fingers. We’ll see how it heals though, it’s not an easy location.
