I’ve gotten tattooed versions of this Dorian Cleavenger painting a couple times now, always labeled slightly differently. I think last time it was a Gemini tattoo, and this time “Bitches Get Stitches”. This version is by Davey A at Ace of Spades in New Britain, CT.

I think I’ll have energy for posting tomorrow (and I sure hope I have it on Thursday, because I’m supposed to get my chestpiece finished that day). It’s been an unusually warm winter here in Toronto so far. Right now (as I write this on Friday — if you read this on Monday morning, I’m either dead [j/k!] or in surgical recovery) it’s raining out, and while it’s getting colder, we’re still having days that are basically early summer in nature… But they say that next week it’s going to snap down to -20°C, and potentially much colder with windchill. If that happens, I think I’m going to be very, very envious of Alienx and Lady Rah hanging out at Cotovelo Beach near where they live in Natal, Brasil…. Time for a vacation…

I’d just like to say for the record that we Canadians (pictured here in this entry) are less odd when it comes to our love of knitting when compared to, say, the English or Belgians (if I remember his location correctly). That said, Canadians are renowned (falsely, I assure you!) for being dull.

You know, most of my “work” on others below the belt is in the realm where that expression isn’t a good one. That said, it’s probably not so bad in the realm of potential “getting tattooed” faces. But most of all, I’m posting this because I thought Hayley (the tattoo artist — Immmortal Images, Charlotte, NC) has a really wonderful nape tattoo!
