The ultimate geek birthmark?
I’ll post more later today but let me start off the day by sharing this awesome one-year old @-sign scarification by Manny at Corazon Salvaje in Buenos Aries, Argentina. Looks amazing!
This was done using skin removal scarification. You can see a fresh picture of this piece here and here, and here it is again at 19 days — you’d never have guessed back then it would raise so wonderfully!). If it heals like most scars it will probably settle a little over the next year but remain raised indefinitely.

A Tattoo for Astronomers
Fainterfuzzy in Murfreesboro, TN writes, “As you might surmise, I’m an astronomer. This is a tattoo of my telescope, Cosmic Queen.”
Kickin’ it oldschool!
Colin from Montreal writes, “I adore my sixty-four” (done by Tony at Tattouage Pointe St-Charles):
Speaking of oldschool (rollerskates not blades) here’s one for the Pioneer Valley Roller Derby, N-Ham, MA, done by Alastair Cameron-Hodges at Mom’s Tattoo Studio in Amherst.
Lego Tattoo
“Innocent youth.”
“Domo Arigato”
Kyle sends in this “Robot with Guts”. I think the quality of the tattoo is a little better technically than the cooking robot I recently posted, but I think of the two, as a concept, I still prefer the earlier one because for whatever reason the toaster-head just melts my stoney shell… what do you think?
Yet another RPG tattoo!
What is it about the D20 these days? I’ve been seeing more and more nice pieces with non-6-sided dice as their centre-piece. I like this one by Phill at Big Deluxe in SLC, Utah — Roll 4 Damage, Bitch
Best. Robot. Ever.
I’m totally into the skills of Michael Blackmon‘s robot tattoo, “Robots Love Pork Too” (love the toaster head). By Lew at Atlas Tattoo in Portland, Oregon.
Dice Tattoos and Scars
“Heh, heh, I rolled a 20, I win”, says Donkey Boy…
Or then there’s this dice cutting and skin removal, by Castillo at Mithos Tattoo in Caracas, Venezuela.
Oldschool Ghetto Blaster Tattoo
Boombox tattoo by Jeremiah Mcabe in Tribal Image Kustom Tattoos in Michigan. It’s looking a little rough in this first stage outline, but I like the general idea.
