I definitely don’t have a problem with straight edge tattoos in general, but I have to admit that the message of Keith’s “bring back prohibition” tattoo (by Alex Franklin at Brooklyn Ink in NYC) kind of rubs me the wrong way.
I’m all for people taking control over their own lives and choosing this path if it feels right to them, but I think it’s a mistake when you actually call for this lifestyle to be imposed on other people by force of law — I’m not comfortable with a government telling me what I can and can not do to my body.

A little while back I posted Selena’s patchwork heart with sparrows tattoo. I wanted to share another one here that I quite liked (and no, it’s not just because I’m a total sucker for tattoos in this location on pretty girls), by Keith at Red Lantern, in San Diego, CA. Each of the different patches represents a different influence — or heartbreak — in her life.
I suspect you’ve seen the Puppetry of the Penis show in which male genitals are deformed into various gag shapes… Well, why just men? Women can get in on the action too, as demonstrated by these two BME friends. But if you make that face too often, let me warn you: it’ll stay that way.
