You know, you start with a little cutting, and look where it leads.

When you send me your tattoo, please include an explanation — it only takes a second. Otherwise I won’t know whether to tell everyone whether you’re a runner, own a Porsche, or are simply a premature ejaculator (or all of the above).
I spent today walking around New York City with my favorite (former) piercer from Psycho Tattoo in Tel-Aviv, Israel, so I thought I’d share with you this photo that I noticed had come from the same shop (by Victor). Damka actually has one of the better developed third nipples I’ve seen, so I think this will last.
One of the things that I think is unfortunate about BME, and I think the modification community in general, is that it is racially skewed toward Caucasians (or at least that’s how it seems to me). Anyway, I wanted to share with you this with you (by Ron from Sacred Art Tattoo, Springfield, MO) because the strange truth is I have received more “animal rights” tattoos than “civil rights” tattoos. The priorities of modern society I suppose?
Let’s play the old BME game of “do you know what you’re looking at”?

Well, as you know it’s been a stressful last week (although I think that we all — IAM members especially) handled it really well. I’m in New York City right now as you know (a little business, a little pleasure, including meeting fellow body bloggers) so I’m trying to keep myself from working while I’m here, but you know me… I just can’t stop. But this picture care of Disintegrate pretty much sums up how I’d like my week to feel…
My hotel is right next to Central Park, so I suppose I could find a dandelion, but I think it’s still way too early in the season here to enjoy blowing away the seeds.
I sure like this rib piece by Jay at Passage in Toronto after just the first sitting on Soliel. Not a fan of the big black bars, but what can I say? Beggars can’t be choosers — I have an evil half and a good half, with different needs. At least the good half is happy!
Yeah, I suppose I can relate to that. Actually, for me, the heart’s not so much a puzzle, but can be best summed up by what I believe is a quote from one of my favorite movies, Whale Music.
Born-again Christian: “Have you invited the Lord Jesus into your heart?”
Desmond Howl: “No, the place is a mess.”
Naw, just kidding, I know what’s up with my heart. I just wanted an excuse to quote that. Anyway, this puzzle heart tattoo (missing a piece) was drawn by the wearer (so please don’t copy it) and executed by Deluxe Tattoo in San Pedro, CA.
I’m told this took only about ten minutes to do, by Klas in Gothenburg, Sweden. The full meaning of the tattoo, I am told, is “We are only numbers in a fascist world. We are all prisoners in a capitalistic society.”
