It ain’t easy being green

Happy St.Patrick’s day everyone!  Today’s the day that you wear green to work, drink green beer at the bar, pass by green dyed waterways, convince strangers to kiss you even if you’re not Irish, and eventually vomit green by the end of the night.

So to honor the green theme of the day, we’ll kick things off with the beautiful Miss.VeraVoodoo in a distinctly green tinted photoshoot in the back of her ’53 Chevy Bel Air.

Vera sent in quite a few photos that you can check out in several galleries including the neck tattoo gallery, and the stretched lobe gallery.  The artists responsible for Vera’s artwork include DJ Richardson, Samantha Provin, Dan Ross, and Little Linda.  Piercings by Dustin Mathis.

An open and shut case

Don’t you just hate it when something happens and your entire earlobe is ripped open and is left dangling off the side of your head?

This is how the lobe looks now, two weeks after being closed up by Quentin from Kalima Emporium in Worthing, Sussex, UK.

I’m always amazed that body modification artists can reconstruct earlobes so well, yet some doctors can’t seem to figure out how to make a lobe look like a lobe again.

You can check the earlobe reconstruction gallery for shots of this lobe when it was first stitched up, as well as photos from other artists who can work miracles with a dangling piece of flesh.

It’s not unusual…

The artist formerly known as IAM:omglolzroflmao has packed up his bags and moved to the cold northern wilds of Edmonton, Alberta.  But just because he’s in the cold, doesn’t mean he doesn’t heat up the town when he goes out.

See, no matter where Chris goes, the party is sure to follow.  That dashing young man on the left happens to be the one and only Alfonso Ribiero, star of Silver Spoons, and some show about a rapper.  I’ll let you guys and gals decide which one of them is the BMEBoy.

Oh, and I would be remiss not to point out Chris’ black arm in progress, as well as his BME Calm logo tattoo on his neck.

Another day, another beauty

It seems like this week has been pretty good for BMEGirl submissions so let’s have another one today.  Pincusion Princess here always manages to send in fantastic pictures and this week she sent in quite a few.  Below are just two of the ones you can find in the BMEGirls Gallery.

To see the other one, you’re going to have to do some clicking…

Here’s the rundown on some of her modifications.

Tattoos by Ryan Bolton, hand implant by Steve Truitt, and her piercings are from her lucky husband, Dominick269.

As an extra little treat, check out her four month old ear implants that were put in by Dom.

Smoking hot

To round out today’s posts here’s a stunning BMEGirl from my hometown of Toronto.

Kat here is a piercer at Ultimate Tattoo, the shop the photographer Dylan Leeder lives above.

While you can find this photo in several galleries on BME thanks to the new system of being able to tag modifications in a photo, the easiest place to find photos of all the BMEGirls is in the BMEGirl gallery.

BMEBoys are fascinating!

This eyebrow raising young man submitted his photos under the name “withoutmer”, and said that his tattoos include Silver Mt Zion neck tattoos, and a quote from The Crow on his chest.

Thanks to how the new galleries work, his photo can be found in several galleries, all relevant to his mods.  So look for him in the face and neck tattoo, lettering tattoo, music tattoo, and ear stretching galleries.

Hanging on the telephone

In a piece reminiscent of Banksy’s works, Jon Goad from Alter Ego Tattoo in Knoxville, TN tattooed this unorthodox design on “abiftw”‘s hand.  With the majority of palm tattoos being a design centralized in the middle of the palm, the off center phone booth, combined with the unique placements of the birds really make this a piece of art.

There are a few more photos of this lovely young woman and her hand in the hand tattoo gallery.
