You may remember a while back I posted a beautiful photo of [beautiful] Candice. I wanted to also share this very different ice-eyed photo of her (iam:Candice) from a shoot she did for an Italian photographer at the Tate Modern Art Museum in London. I hope the Kipling title is not too obscure.

Rembrandt’s Earring
Because some people think his earlobe looks “deformed” in self-portraits, some people believe that Rembrandt (as in the artist), suffered from a “botched ear piercing“, but I think that story is probably bunk and I don’t see evidence of it in his self portraits. In fact, the only self portrait that I know of that clearly and without ambiguity shows a pierced lobe is his self-portrait done in 1650, not long after his wife and two children died, and a few years before his bankruptcy and then death and burial in an unmarked grave. During that period he also painted other men (such as his portrait of Aristotle) with earrings… maybe his depression put him on a piercing kick, ha?
“Tracheotomy Beautification”
I love this traceotomy piercing (or beautification, as she puts it) by Missy Twohig at Karma Tattoo Studio in Erie, PA. It’s healed in this photo, and is certainly one of the most unique piercings I’ve ever seen!
Rui’s First Tattoo
Gotta love a client that’s quiet, doesn’t move, and doesn’t complain?
Fingernail Removal
Fingernail modification (permanent removal, relocation, and so on) is covered in BME/extreme, but it is one of the rarest and least frequently updated sections on the site… I was quite pleased to recieve this and a few other pictures from a priest (I think) who’s nearly completely removed his nails.

Enticing
Narfette is from Montreal, but the three year old sternum piercings, cheek piercings, bridge, and so on, are by Raphaelle at Magic Circus/3D in Paris, France.
