Ass to Elbows

When they’re not jumping off of bridges The Sinner Team is hard at work putting together some incredible suspensions.  Take this Ass to Elbow to Lotus tandem suspension.  Ass suspensions on their own are pretty rare, but combine that with an elbow suspension (that’s being used as the tandem point!) and then a lotus, The Sinner Team has really outdone themselves with this one.

Holy $#!t!!

I just got a message from Stanislav about 5 minutes ago regarding this.  The pictures and videos will be uploaded to The Sinner Team’s gallery soon, but in the mean time, make sure you’re sitting down.

I’ll try to get more details for you, but for now all you need to know is that it was a 150ft free-fall into what looks like an abandoned cooling tower from a nuclear plant.  Definitely keep an eye on The Sinner Team’s gallery.

UPDATE:  According to Stanislav this took place at an abandoned cooler outside of St. Petersburg.  The 6 man crew took the train up there, and camped out on the site for 4 days setting it up and testing it multiple times before the actual suspension took place.

Free Fall Suspension – The Birth

Ladies and gentlemen, BME is very happy to present to you “Free Fall Suspension – The Birth”.  This video, filmed by and starring The Sinner Team, chronicles their journey towards their now trademark free-fall suspensions.  From their early experiments with swinging from a bridge, to their first free-fall and beyond, Stanislav’s team has made tremendous strides when it comes to pushing the limits of suspension.  As you can see by the image below, these suspensions are extremely dangerous and should never be attempted without stringent safety measures and experts present.  This is the full length film, so grab some popcorn and a drink before firing it up.  Oh, and it’s in Russian with English subtitles.

As with all videos, I’ve put it behind a click-through just in case your browser likes to autoplay videos.

You can check out more photos and videos from The Sinner Team in their BME Suspension Team Gallery.

Twelve, Six, Two

Here’s something a little special from Moscow’s The Sinner Team.  Stanislav and the crew set up a 12 point resurrection that was cut down to a 6 point, and then cut again to a two point.  The best part?  They filmed the entire thing, including a camera attached to the rope above the rig plate.

Blassting off

Alright, so I made a vow to never use a “In Soviet Russia” joke, and I still intend to keep that vow.  The only reason I’m mentioning it is because of this suspension.  From what I can recall up until a few months ago the only people who have been featured doing an ass suspension were men.  Since then Moscow’s Sinner Team has had a number of women suspending from their posteriors.  That all said, here’s yet another Sinner doing a single point asstronaut suspension.

Connect Four

4 simple steps to creating a 4-way tandem suspension:

Step 1:  Hook up the top person using 6 Gilson hooks just above his knees, and then another 4 in his torso to hold the rigging plate below him.

Step 2:  Repeat step one

Step 3: Add the last 2 people using a 2 point suicide for both of them, with knee hooks to join them together.

Step 4: Step back and watch the four people enjoy an amazing suspension.

Remember to only attempt something like this in the presence of skilled practitioners and the difficulty level for something like this is astronomical.  One thing to note is that the top person has a secondary harnesses attached as a backup in case of hook or skin failure.

Congratulations to Moscow’s Sinner Team for pulling this off safely.

Flying Sinners

We’ve got some brand new photos in from Moscow’s Sinner Team.  The crew hosted Black Fly Tattoo’s 6th annual suspension BBQ.  With the help of a crane, they did some pretty impressive suspensions, including this 4pt modified superman, which I believe is now called the flying shrimp.  I’ve seen similar suspensions, but this is the first time I’ve seen it down with 1 point in each knee below the kneecap.  Normally there are 2 points on the sides of each knee.  You can see more photos in the Sinner Team’s BME Gallery.
