Great photo of Javi‘s work (Q.bos Bodyart, Aranjuez, Madrid, Spain)!

The latest? A transdermal chin implant.
Damn, Patrick from Denmark is starting to look pretty intense!
Finger and Toe Dermal Anchors
You know, when Phil shouted across the office that we had some pictures of dermal anchors on toes and fingers, I thought it was a pretty lame idea… But now that I see them, I’ve got to admit they look really cool, sort of like “bandless rings” or something. Someone needs to file a patent, ha. Anyway, these were done in 16ga by Trevor at Urban Art in Mesa.
I <3 Komando
I know, I’ve said this a ton of times on BME and on my personal blog, but I just love komando‘s look… I hope she doesn’t get mad at me for saying this, but it’s just so cute and adorable! I wish more heavy modded people were so happy looking… too many people want to focus on being cool or badass instead of focusing on just enjoying being themselves I think.
I love Baawo’s look!
These great photos are by Regis Hertrich (who I’ve featured here before) of Baawo‘s facial cuttings by Samppa Von Cyborg. I think if I was making a list of top-10 “cool looking modified people” there’s a real good chance I’d have Baawo on my list.
Blast From The Past
I was cleaning up the BME “officies” today and found an old CD of pictures from back in 1997 when I was living in Philadelphia. The first photo is of Steve Haworth doing a cautery brand on my friend Dustin (at Infinite) — I love how you can see the smoke just billowing up from the tool!
This next picture is actually me… I’d had forehead implants done and they ended up crooked, so my roommate at the time (Jon Cobb, one of the most brilliant and influential piercers of all time in my opinion) did his best to straighten in (we created a second channel and tried to shift it). Ultimately we still removed it, but these are some of my favorite pictures of myself:
Intense Facial Work
While I’d say that the facial modifications in the previous entry are bold, I’d argue that for plainskins that aren’t fundamentally bigots that it’s still fundamentally attractive on a conventional level. Magneto, a customer of mod artist Oscar Navarro‘s at VOID in Barcelona, Spain, is definitely pushing that border a lot harder and a lot more unconventionally — those implanted eyebrow ridges are intense, to say nothing of the tattoo work he’s having done!
Great photos, great artist
Thank you to the very (multi) talented Christiane from Pinpoint Piercing in Oslo, Norway. In addition to the obvious piercings, check out his 3D-art implant work and her scarification project.
Transscrotal Piercing Penile Inversion
This is currently one of the BME covers, and I thought some people who don’t have access to the main site’s large galleries of this would want to know exactly what they’re seeing. First of all, his genitals are tattooed and I’m pretty sure he has bead-style implants. In addition, he has a transscrotal piercing that’s stretched large enough to insert his entire penis, essentially turning his cock-and-balls upside down.
RFID implant photos
We’ve covered RFID implants on BME in the past, but it seems like more and more DIY implants and active projects are going on these days. Here’s a photo of Rob at MetaFlesh in Brighton, England putting one in via injection (as well as the autoclaved implant, and the electronics being used to control home access using it).
