“ET” inspired suspension?
Photo c/o Freakboy; a bike suspension by Jimi of Diabos Mutantes, Sao Paulo, Brasil.
Penguin of Doom
Tandy had this little self-drawn monster with “I AM” in her handwriting (her first tattoo) done by Jamie at Forbidden Tattoo in Norwalk, Ohio.
Don’t Panic Foot Script
Neek (who does admit to loving Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy) got this nice script done by Fermin at Tatufrenia in Valencia, Spain. He says, “I have a tendency to get myself worked up; this is a little reminder” (that makes me think of the motivation my stay calm note-to-self tattoo, so I completely relate).
Jack the Ripper Portrait
There’s no denying that this Jack the Ripper tattoo by Tom Brudvik at Let’s Buzz at Bergen, Norway is great work, but I’ll again ask the question: if it’s “socially acceptable” to get tattoos of serial killers, which very clearly represent humanity gone wrong (not that I’m opposed to sociopathy… just saying that’s what it is), why are people opposed to things like tattoos of Hitler and other subjects that push the boundaries of what we find acceptable behavior? Is it a matter of scale? Is generalized bigotry worse than specific torture and killing of women? I wonder… not that torture porn isn’t pop culture these days.
One week old heart implant
KissItGoodbye from Glasgow Piercing Studio had this great silicone heart implanted on her temple by Howie (LunaCobra.net) while he was passing through Dundee.
“Me on Him”
Johnny Cooper (of Psycho Clown Tattoo, Fort Worth, TX) tattooed a picture of Adrenalynn Richardson onto a client — here are all three of them together. She says that while there are others with her picture tattooed on them, this is the first time she’d ever actually met the person and seen it happen! Must have been a strange sensation…
Neck Song Titles
While is is possible that Shai has a “Quiet Mind” and an “Ugly Side” in general, I’m rolling with the assumption that these are Blue October fan tattoos, done by Solomon at Octous Inc in Tacoma, WA.
“I want to be a Papuan!”
What, you don’t have a penis gourd? I bring mine out for all formal events where I want to be at my maniliest. Sure, it got some giggles at ModProm II, but those people just don’t understand fashion.
Making A Great Impression!
This BCR subdermal implant (by Simon in London) has very nice form and definition at 27 days in terms of how well the center has sunk down… They don’t always heal that nicely!
