What an unfortunate last name to have. The teasing at school must have been unbearable… Tattoo by Tracy Devine of Devine Creations in Kingston, NH.

Ilya’s Sunday Hangout
Ilya from the Flesh Factory in Amsterdam did this “Red Bridge Project” with his friend Jenn and assistance from **loveless**. They pierced Ilya at a nearby house and did the base rigging there as well. They took a boat out to the bridge which already had the ropes in place, then a single click to attach him and they pulled them both up!

Damn that’s hot!

You may remember that back in May I posted some freshly cut photos of Flash‘s pubic flower cutting done by Defstar (Magnum, Moscow, Russia). It’s looking great as it heals — this is about two months old now.
DIY 0ga Deep PA
Here’s Knightowl36 caught in the act of doing a 0ga deep PA on himself (yes, the procedure is a little bloody). He writes, “If anybody told me how painful it would be to pee after preforming a “0ga deep PA” on oneself, I NEVER would have done it.”
Well, he stuck it out and it’s healing well (which is good, because I did one of these on myself about ten years ago using the same DIY procedure and healing was a nightmare). Oh, and if you’re wondering, that’s a transscrotal you’re seeing as well.
Interview with Alvar Saenz-Otero posted!
I’m very happy to post this interview with one of the coolest and smartest pierced people I know! Click the picture to jump through to the interview! Thank you to Alvar for taking the time to chat, and congratulations to him on his achievements and representing modified people so well. (For those of you who don’t remember, click through).
BME: Do you think you have to work harder as a pierced person?
Alvar: No, not at all… you should simply always work hard. Being pierced/modified should neither give nor take any rights from you — you deserve the same treatment, and you are free to look different.
“LIVE THE LIFE YOU LOVE”
At first I was going to comment that this isn’t going to last at all, but then I look down at my own knuckles, and I have high detail scars from my old knuckle piercings, as well as cuts from various punches and hand injuries. So maybe it will last. Either way, it’s more nice clean work by Brian of Pure Body Arts in Brooklyn, NY (although I’ll mention again that he tours regularly).
Dotwork BME-themed Sleeve
Keff‘s halfsleeve was done in a stippled style by Marc at Swastika Freakshop in Radolfzell am Bodensee, Germany, and I think it’s definitely one of my favorite BME tattoos — up there with Joeltron’s backpiece.
“Been busy creating”
Girl‘s right forearm, tattooed by Gavin Rowbottom at Feline in Sheffield, and her eight week old son. Interesting juxtaposition with the previous entry!
“Momma’s Favorite Accident”
Um… Alright… iam:xxproudxx by Bret Turner in Maysville, Kentucky.
