It’s one thing to put 150 needles in a single line, it’s something else to work up an entire elaborate design that covers the upper portion of both legs.
The legs belong to sugarNspice, and the piercings were put in by Dennis “SpankyDoom” Eymer from Art and Soul Tattoo in Portage, MI
Ask any elementary school teacher and they’ll tell you about the value of both art and play. When the two are combined, the result is nothing short of amazing. Now just because we’re all adults doesn’t mean we can’t play around with art now and then. Kai from Khabarovsk, Russia combined both body art and play piercing to create this photo.
It also doesn’t hurt that the model is cute.

Piercing by Skin Seamstress, Photography by Paul Jobes
Here’s a great photo from photographer Paul Jobes, with piercings by the Skin Seamstress herself, Zombieprincess. It looks like she threaded the end of the feathers into the ends of the play piercing needles, giving the model, Raeven Irata, the look of a fallen angel with broken wings.
Sure this may look like a simple play piercing, but after taking a closer look you can see how the needles have created a heart out of the negative space, to the point that your brain fills in the missing lines. It almost appears to be raised like scar tissue.

We get photos of performance art pieces all the time. Sometimes it’s suspension related, and other times it involves piercings. This one in particular is like nothing I’ve seen before, and it involves a lot of piercings.
There’s more to show you, but the rest don’t have any strategically placed arms, so you’ll have to keep reading to see them.
As you can see in the last photo, the piercings are covering her entire body. In all honesty, these three photos don’t do enough justice to this piece. I urge you to check out the body surface piercing gallery to see the rest of the photos. According to the information provided, Dimitri from MTL Tattoo did all the piercings. No information was given for the models.
Keep an eye out later today for another performance piece put together by Dimitri.
Here’s some interesting play piercings from Kaktus in France. According to the description, they used 40 piercings to secure the balloons in place.
Jane-Marie Ravelo from The Miami Tattoo Company sent in a series of photos from a shoot that she did the piercings for. No word on who the model is, but you can get a better look at her and the piercings in the ritual and play piercing gallery.
Miss Cale has once again broken her personal play piercing record with this 122 point heart design she did on her own legs. Prior to this, her highest attempt was 84, so this is a big step forward for her.
