Chhhhhhop!

I love that you can see Marco’s tools in the background after his DIY thumb removal… It’s something I’ve always been interested in, but since the surgery on my leg I’ve been wanting to do a minor amputation more and more — my surgery caused some nerve damage so I have no feeling in part of my lower leg, and observing the different ways that my brain interprets it is just fascinating. I guess sometimes one is driven by fetishism, and sometimes by curiosity.

That said, I like having long opposable thumbs, so for me I think I’d go with a finger, probably the ring finger (I think Steve Haworth told me some time ago, when we were implanting the magnets, that if you’re going to mess with a finger, that’s the one to do because it’s the weakest, and even if you lose it completely it does not have a major impact on your ability to use your hand).

Lucky You

When he processes images for BME, Phil makes me a pile of images as possible posts, so I don’t always know who it is until I write the entry… So I’m like “who’s this sexy girl?”, and I click on bettiebondage‘s page and am greeted by a picture of her picking her nose. Fantasy shattered, although I’m sure there are many readers that are totally into pretty girls picking their noses 🙂 — “Lucky You” pubic tattoo and stars by Brian at Lion’s Den Tattoo in Salem, NH.

Garuda Mask Collaboration Scarification

I wasn’t going to post today, but I got this amazing collaboration scarification (seriously, click that if you’re wondering why “collaboration” is emphasized) photo from Ron Garza (www.rongarza.com) and Wayde Dunn (www.waydedunn.com) and had to share it (who tour regularly; check their sites for schedules). The cutting (here’s a closeup) is on Justin and is based on a photo of a Garuda mask that Ron took in Indonesia, which he and Wayde redrew for scarification.
