Welcome to BME

According to the description attached to this photo, Toino has been working on his tattoos non-stop for the past three years.  After getting work done by Richard Van Pelt, Stefano Negro and Hohepa Goebel, Toino has decided to sign up to BME to become a member of the community.

Let’s give him a nice warm welcome.

I Heart You

Oh young love.  Where every moment feels like the first, and the last.  Every feeling is magnified a thousandfold, and your heart feels like it could beat out of your chest.  Where you take your heart, and offer it up to another, hoping that they do the same.  Alas, Cupid’s arrow doesn’t always hit both of his targets square in the heart, and while one person may fall head over heels in love, the other might only get a flesh wound.  So what is one to do?  Grab hold of that arrow, rip out their own heart and offer it freely, with the hope that the other person will do the same?  Or leave it buried deep within themselves, forever lodged in their chest, aching whenever they think of the one they lost.

The air up there

When Karina wants to hang out, she does it in style.

I’ve been wrong before, and if I am again I’m sure I’ll be corrected, but this appears to be a 2 point resurrection suspension.

Aside from the fact that Karina is beautiful the shot itself is breathtaking.  Not only is she suspended by the hooks, but she’s also pulling up on herself, giving the photo a feeling that she’s the one that is lifting herself into the air, and not the hooks.

It’s not the body mods that make the bad guy, it’s the overalls.

A while back my old friend Josh (yes, “That Guy” from the 9:30 club in DC) has been featured on modblog a few times previously for pictures similar to these. It seems he has a thing for playing the villain, when truth be told he is a gentle giant of a man.

For another shot and a little backstory on this project from Josh, keep on keeping on.

My buddy Dave and I started doing some horror themed photo shoots as a promotional campaign for a haunted hayride a few years back.  That project went away, but we kept shooting.  Dave is a huge old horror movie buff, and he started toying around with making movie posters out of the shots complete with titles, taglines, and credits.  That gave birth to the “movies that don’t exist” concept.  As we kept shooting, we started to realize that it would be fun to make a trailer for the movie that doesn’t exist.  we’ve started working on the story, and shooting video along with the stills.

The photos have received a wide range of responses, from people that absolutely get the homage to the slasher flick angle to being called poorly edited misogynistic crap.  We realize that the subject matter is not for everyone, and the fact that it elicits any response at all is a good sign.  If you don’t get a response, you’re not doing it right.  We also haven’t tipped all of our cards just yet.  There is more to the story than what appears at first glance.

Our number one priority when shooting is that none of the girls get hurt (only I am allowed to injure myself for a shoot).  The shoots are all done in fun, and we often ruin shots because one of us can’t keep a straight face from joking around so much.  This made us realize that we need to show that side of the process as well, so we’ve started shooting some “behind the screams” video to show the lighter side of the project.

The current plan is to put together a multimedia package .  There will be a book including the stills, some bios, peeks behind the scenes, and some story elements.  Then there will be the video portion which includes the trailer, outtake video, and some interviews.  The project keeps evolving, so there may be even more to come in the future.

All of the work can be seen on the 13th Hour Photography’s facebook page.

The Guess What Game (Results)

Time’s up!  It’s time to see how everyone did.  But before we get to the results, lets get a quick recap of today’s game.

Round 1

Round 1

Round 2

Round 2

Round 3

Round 3

Any final guesses?  Now’s the time.

To see the results, you know what to do…

Well, in what should come as no shock to anyone, round one certainly was a penis.  Some of our readers were able to recognize the tattoos and knew that they belonged to IAM: m1fly.  The fun part now is taking a look at ALL the mods that he has.  According to his page, here is the rundown:

MODS:

STAINLESS PENIS IMPLANTS: about 3 pounds, including hundereds of small balls in the shaft core and 5/8 dia. balls filling a healed pouch along the underside that’s inflated with air and rattle inside.

STAINLESS SCROTAL IMPLANTS: 6 one inch balls that also rattle when inflated. They weight about one pound.

PERMANENT PENIS THORNS: well over 400…. now 600!! thorns in place in the last two inches including the head. 4″ long cactus thorns in the shaft core.

FISHING LINE: New…. 6 lb. line wadded up inside the glans. (many feet) in the penis shaft core, mostly wadded up below the scrotum as a trial run for stuffing the shaft full and hard. Lengths under the skin also.

VARIOUS PENIS IMPLANTS: including broken car glass, glass beads, plastic caps and beads, hair, small stones, LED lights, sutures, wires, and a retired electronic tune player. Yes, my penis used to play a tune when squeezed and even light up inside!

TATTOO’S ON THE PENIS AND SCROTUM, some done as practice or fun such as writing funny things…. I’d like to have the whole area colored and lots of funny writing or names.

INFLATEABLE PENIS: There is a healed internal skin pouch filled with steel balls that rattle around inside. The pouch can be inflated to make it huge or small in minutes and stays full of air or other gases for months.

STRETCHED OUT URETHRA: It will now accept 7/8″ dia objects, but used to fit over an inch around. Has had a table knife, spoon and fork completely inside at once. Some large objects and coins are now lost into the bladder.

PENIS HEAD HAIR…. A strange thing is hair started growing around and inside my urethra eight years ago. It happened almost over night and soon the whole head was covered with 5″ long hair! It will grow to over two feet in length if I let it!! I’ve tried everything to have it removed but it always returns. The stuff inside the urethra can’t be removed so it’s there to stay. I’ve spent MANY $ and it comes back worse everytime??? Doctors told me to stop the removal thing or risk even more hair growth?? What?!? I have got used to it now and if nothing else it feels nice when pulled on 🙂

I used to have many genital piercings, but with all the weight of my work it caused them to either start growing out or be extremely irritated. The implants are more fun so the piercings had to go.

Round 1

Impressive doesn’t even begin to describe it.  BME Hard members can check out more pictures in the genital surgery galleries.

Round two is a little on the tamer side of things with AtropaPipesworth’s DIY navel piercings.

Round 2

Our third and final round today did involve some blood as a result of cutting, but it was definitely above the waist.  TheBeef sent in photos of her tongue web cutting, and you can check out more pictures of the procedure being done in the gallery.

Round 3

So?  How well did you do this time?  I’m giving bonus points for those of you who were able to identify m1fly’s collection from just a small photo.

Every week we’re looking for more photos to play the game with, so if you have a photo lying around that you think might be great for the Guess What Game, just send it in.

The Guess What Game (Round 3)

Another week, another Tuesday, and another edition of the Guess What Game!  If you remember last week, there was a male nipple, a female chastity project, and a partial glansecotmy.  Most people got the first two right, but the third had pretty much everyone fooled.  This week’s game is going outside the box a little, as you’ll see with the first round.

For those new to the game, the rules are simple.  Throughout the day, you’ll be faced with three cropped images.  Your job is to figure out what body part/modification is being shown.  To make things a little easier, a clue will be given as to what is in the picture.  At the end of the day, the results will be revealed for all three pictures, and the winners will get bragging rights for the week.  Now, on to the game!

The only real hint I can give to you for round three is that you are indeed seeing blood.  Seriously, that’s all you’re getting.  You’re looking at a very fresh and open wound, of course where on the body this is taking place is up to you to guess.

Round two brings us back to basics.  While the first round may be a little challenging, this one should be a little easier.  A single piercing through a piece of flesh.  The big question of course is, “what piece of flesh is this”?

So for this week’s first image we have a part of a person’s anatomy that is clearly tattooed.  Now there are quite a few mods at play in the full photo, so it will be impossible to guess exactly what has been done to this body part, so all you need to do is guess which part it is, trying to be as specific as possible.

A better place to be

This photo really caught my eye. It looks like it could easily be a glossy advertisement for Jack Daniels in some fancy magazine. Diegosalomao (who submitted this) appears to be in a club that only the coolest folks go to and he’s sipping on some JD while looking super hot with his gorgeous sleeves. What was I saying again? Oh right, you’re welcome ladies (and some of you men).

He didn’t mention who did the tattoo work so we’re stuck just admiring the picture. Life is rough isn’t it?

Let me axe you something

I know, I cringe too when I hear someone “axe” a question.   Yet seeing this newest addition to the galleries from the incredibly talented Joey Pang (Tattoo Temple in Hong Kong), made me think of things that can be axed.  I know Joey normally does her own designs, yet for some reason I feel I’ve seen this before, or possibly some variation of it.  I’m sure some of the more astute ModBlog readers will be able to find it, if it is indeed an adapted design.

Keep an eye on ModBlog this week for more of Joey’s work, including a floral piece that will blow your mind.
