Geometry, Dotwork, and Polynesian Motifs

These beautiful sleeves enjoying the beach are by Vincent Hocquet at Beautiful Freak in St. Idesbald, Belgium. Anyway, I hope today’s updates are alright — I think I’m on day five of basically no sleep, and yesterday my doctor upped a bunch of stuff to try and help me sleep, but all it’s done so far is make me feel dopey during the day, ha… grr… I’d much rather be hanging out on the beach with this guy.

“I am the high you can’t sustain”

And I do love getting high…

I realized that I haven’t posted a play piercing photo in a while, so when we got this photo from one of my favorite play piercers (ennui zero — I’m a sucker for her photos: 1 2 3 4) I agreed that it ought to be posted. She tells me she was being a baby that night and just did a few 25 gauge needles but I still like the photo.

PS. It’s covered in this photo but she has a really great lower lip bling that you can check out on her page.

Bicep Tattoos

As I turn up the collar on my favorite winter coat
This wind is blowin’ my mind
I see the kids in the street, with not enough to eat
Who am I, to be blind? Pretending not to see their needs
A summer’s disregard, a broken bottle top
And a one man’s soul
They follow each other on the wind ya’ know
‘Cause they got nowhere to go
That’s why I want you to know

Rhino Piercing

Because this is such an unusual piercing, the vertical nasal tip piercing has a myriad of names all over the world. In Rancagua, Chile (where this was done by Zham at Peke House), it’s being called a “rhino”. Piercings like this (along with septrils and other unusual nose piercings) are in the nose related piercings gallery on BME.
