I miss Africa so much… This great scar of the outline of the African continent — one day old in the photo — was done by Mark Trudelle at Louis-Riel in Ottawa, Canada using electrocautery.

WASD: The Holy Keys
For those that don’t know, the wearer explains,
It is of the “WASD” part of a keyboard, which are the keys that control movement in first person shooter games… it’s the “home” part of the keyboard. I got the tat in commemoration of ten years of fps, off and on.
The tattoo was done by James at Artatorture here in Toronto. By the way, The Lizardman has a similar set of tattoos on his fingertips — they were written about in this article on nerdy tattoos and he also wrote about it separately.

Cross-hatch Scarring
You may have seen this on the cover of BME recently, or in the scarification galleries, but I wanted to give some extra attention to this nice scar (hopefully we’ll get to see the healed texture in the future) from Horinaka at AcidCrue in Singapore (iam:incisionglory).
Woodworker or Amputation Fetishist?
ModernEpic‘s newest tattoo was done by David Cho at Laughing Buddha in Seattle, WA. He makes custom hardwood jewelry, so I’m gonna guess my next entry that features him will probably include all ten toes (and all still attached to his feet).
Sacred Heart Piercing
It’s not permanent of course, but this “sacred heart piercing” was done by Andrew at Mystic Marks Tattoo Company in San Marcos, Texas, using twenty six surface piercings and 16 gauge Tygon on a customer’s ribcage.
