Is it just my imagination, or have I been posting exceptional man-butt lately?
Haha… Anyway, this random picture was taken at a show that Freakboy, Jimi, and the folks from Diabos Mutantes Equipe de Suspensão in São Paulo, Brasil recently hosted. I have no idea why his pants fell down… The only explanation I have, if prison taught me anything, is that because he’s on suicide [suspension] watch, he’s earned himself a strip search.
In the next update I post there will be a new gallery that features their shows exclusively and has tons more pictures, but for today, just one.
I’ve seen a lot of cool custom rigs in a wide variety of shapes, but I got a laugh out of Christ Steele’s “FUCK” rig (from Psycho Tattoo 3, Douglasville, GA) in these pictures of ImmureMe‘s first four point suicide. You’ll find the pictures here of course, but do expect some blurring if they end up in the local Douglasville TV report!
For her first suspension, Brutal_Artist from Brazil and her co-suspendee simply walked down a step-stool instead of being lifted with a pulley system. She admits that maybe it was “not exactly professional” but says don’t knock it, as it worked quite well. It’s actually a pretty common method — the main problem as I see it is that it complicates matters if you have to lower someone who goes into shock or passes out.
It’s hard to make out the faces of these Russian Man Dolls, but I’m sure they were grinning from ear to ear!

You may remember that a while back I mentioned some beautiful Czech suspensions in which the piercings were retained afterwards. My friend Stormchaser, who you may know best for his amazing deep and permanent piercings through his bicep and other intense locations, also chose to sustain his suspension piercings, which are three and four months old in these pictures. I believe the piercings are by Sharon Looy at Dare2Wear in Amsterdam, and the suspension was assisted by Chandler with Berlin Superfly in Germany.

Herrich, Fousage, and Shemon from Hell.cz in Prague (“personality tuning and body modification”) did these beautiful suspensions on a hill overlooking Czech farmland to celebrate the end of summer (2007). More photos after the break, and if you’re wondering what’s in the last photo, they’re inserting PTFE through the suspension piercings in order to retain them afterwards.
