This sculpture, currently in wax and eventually in plastic or broze, was made by superubberchicken in California. The final version is going to use something different for hooks though.

Suspension or Exercise?
While it’s true that dynamic rigging does adjust somewhat for motion, Neek pretty much would have to hold that pose the whole time to keep the weight distributed in this forearm suspension… Well, might as well kill two birds with one stone and get his workout done at the same time! Next time: Knee suspension crunches.

The guy I lost my virginity to did the first “ass suspension.” Thank god this was years after we boned.
Ass suspension? Just how does that work? Hang on to a buttplug with you sphincter of godly strength? Drive hooks through your buttcheek muscles? Geez…
It gets philosophical though as well.
Gosh, have you ever stuck the blade of a hunting knife up your ass? Maybe it would be transcendent. Can’t say it isn’t till you try it.
Or maybe you don’t need to actually need to stick a hunting knife up your ass to know that there is nothing transcendent about it and that anyone who would actually enjoy doing that has serious mental issues. Such a person does not need to embrace their inner ass-knifer, they need to seek help to find out why their mind craves such clearly psychologically deviant and destructive behavior.
Anyway, I’m going to go satisfy my inner ass-knifer now.

Beautiful Solo Suspension
Well, solo in the photo but punkelvse was assisted in this experience by tobben (both in Norway). I really like the picture a lot. Some day I’d love to take all my favorite photos from ModBlog and just make a collage-type book out of them (The ModBlog Scrapbook, 2005-2007?). This would definitely be there!

Here’s Alexis suspending with the First Class trains on Platform 1 with Diddy and Delta9 (South Coast Suspensions, UK). I love guerilla suspension! You may remember them from their lightpole suspension, and other guerilla suspensions have been featured in the past here as well — off a tank, in Las Vegas, off a bridge (or something), and lots more in various BME galleries (and there’s even guerilla aftercare).

Like a drug trip: Set and Setting are Essential
Yesterday I posted Fabito’s Petropolis suspension, but I love the set that they found — an abandoned and run-down ski-lift — so much so that I wanted to also share Helena‘s first suspension experience which took place there, by Valnei, with Joao’s help as well. You know, the folks down in Brasil always find the coolest places to suspend. This is from Valnei‘s Petromodificpolis event in Brasil.
