Leg Muscle Anatomy Tattoo

Chris Govier sends in this shot of a full leg anatomical tattoo he’s working on…. If it gets filled in red with white highlights, it’s going to be pretty crazy looking! The only thing I’m not 100% sold on is that the muscles are very well placed, but their fibres run atypically. But yeah, fill this in red and it’s definitely going to be giving people heart attacks at the beach, ha!!!!

Holy Moley.

Urea and his friends get more intense all the time…. This customer (who’s had his first set for I believe over two years now) has six subclavical piercings (last featured here with four of them)… Very extreme — even though I’ve now seen lots of people get and keep them, I don’t think I could ever work up the courage to do it myself… Past my peronal danger line (and remember, I’m the guy who’s tattooing his eyeballs). I really love that Urea is using his arm with those huge implants as a “signature” in photos — it reminds me of Maori chiefs who signed contracts by drawing out their mokos.

Petromodificpolis!

You know, the folks down in Brasil always find the coolest places to suspend. This is from Valnei‘s Petromodificpolis event in Brasil. I think Fabito Goncalves probably describes it very well when he writes, “experincias nicas num lugar mgico, festas, muita diverso, novos amigos, namorada nova e many many more. Resumindo, s me aconteceram coisas boas nesses dias que se seguiram. Dizem por a que uma imagem vale mais que mil palavras. Ento, a vo algumas imagens que mostram alguns desses momentos to especiais.”*

I really need to go back to South America soon.

* Roughly (I speak French, not Portuguese, sorry): “Experiences in a magical place, parties, fun, and new and old friends. Only good things happened in this time. They say a picture is worth a thousand words; here are some that share those special moments.” (more pictures on BME and on his page as well).

100% Wood?

I assume those are supposed to be sigs, but the first person I showed it to thought it might be a Tetris tattoo. Either way, I probably would avoid getting anything that looked like SS marks on public skin, let alone writing “100% wood” on my head. But maybe I don’t have a sense of humor over being a blockhead (which was my secondary explanation for this tattoo by Aminda).

Woowoo

Not that I anticipate ModBlog winning because (and maybe I’m kidding myself) it’s just too weird for the mundanes, but it looks like we just got nominated (thanks!) for our first bloggy award. I guess if enough readers actually nominated ModBlog it could win, but I seriously do wonder if we’d be silently nixxed behind the scenes…

Note: I actually would be very happy if people voted for ModBlog, but please vote in legitimately if you do (ie. make real votes in other categories too).
