Chest Microdermal Jewelry

James Wisniewski (Body Electric, Hollwood CA) did this 6mm titanium prong faced CZ microdermal recently… I think I remember someone commenting on how microdermals were interesting to them because they opened up a whole lot of body decorating options that were not available before except through procedures arguably in the “[very] minor surgery” category rather than “piercing” category like microdermals are. I suppose this helps illustrate that notion.

Almost done in one 14 hour session!

Damn, I don’t envy what Larry Brogan‘s hands must have felt like after tattooing for that long! I’d say long sits are definitely harder for the tattoo artist physically than the client. Maybe that makes me seem either lazy or like a masochist? Anyway, the piece is titled, “Pussy Worship” and it’s still in progress (Larry’s at Tattoo City Skin Art, Lockport IL).

Memorial tattoo for grandmother

Obviously I have my personal discomfort about the “CREATION” and “WORSHIP” and so on subliminally placed in this touching remembrance piece, but what I really got a kick out of it is that the tattoo was done by Scott at Pain Hate Pain in Akron, Ohio. (Not because there’s anything funny about Scott, but because I think it’s funny when überfriendly tattoos are done at shops with angry names — it’s the word-nerd in me responding).
