I don’t see hood ladders that often — let alone a five-piece ladder (not counting the triangle) — so I thought I’d share it here. More are of course in the female genital piercing galleries on BME.

Christ Baptism Backpiece
First of all, if you’re reading this and it’s the top entry on ModBlog, the latest update on IAM is down a few entries. I’ll post another one later tonight. I’ll probably have to replace a couple components on the machine, so if you’d like to help out, please take a few pictures (if possible for BME/extreme or BME/HARD, but navels help too!) and email them to [email protected] (the online submissions forms are offline). And now back to your regularly scheduled programming…
What a wonderful photo! It sure looks like somewhere I’d rather be than here dealing with computer problems, ha! Click to take a closer look at the tattoo.
“puncture envy, needled veggy”
The full picture series (which will be in next image update) is labelled and ordered, “Introducing… Entering… Observing… Planting… Stretching… Thinking… Feeling… Resting… Closing…” I guess that’s as concise a way as any to describe the play piercing experience!
Dan Eldon Inspired Tattoo
“What is the difference between exploring and getting lost?”, from The Journey is the Destination by Dan Eldon (a photojournalist, artist, and adventurer that was killed while reporting in Somalia), tattooed at Dickmann Tattoo in Denmark. I guess if I was going to answer the question I’d say when you’re exploring, you’re seeking out something new, but when you’re lost, you’re seeking out something familiar.
Tool/Schism Tattoo
This is definitely one of those tattoos that’s got to have made the tattoo artist totally cross-eyed with a splitting headache by the end of it! I think Jayson McDaniel at Animal House in Pearl, Mississippi probably handles stress a lot better than me…
“Small dick or big hole?”
From the Lizzy and Philly bonus gallery in BME/HARD.
Microdermal Forhead Mohawk
Thanks to John Durante at Laughing Buddha in Seattle for sending in this shot of a great looking set of microdermals (imagine something half way between a transdermal implant and a dermal anchor if you don’t already know the technique).

Saline Breast Inflation
Pierre Black from Montreal sends in these shots of a temporary breast enlargement he did using a saline drip. These are pretty safe to do in sterile environments (as this was), but I just wanted to add (since there’s been lots of risks discussion lately) that with saline injections sterile technique is exceedingly important because if you make a mistake and drag the wrong microbes in, you bypass many of the body’s defense mechanisms and give them a very hospitable place to breed.
