Some days, it’s very good to know an implant artist.

Brass Knuckle Implants / Anchors
No, not the drive-commentors-crazy sort of brass knuckle implants, but a series of dermal anchors across the knuckles by Johannes Skindeeplove at Chronic Tattoo in San Diego, CA.
Eventually they come out.
Implants are not forever much of the time. I’ve taken out almost a dozen myself, and you can see here Raposa at Tattoo Land in Sao Paulo, Brasil is doing the same. I’m not saying “don’t do them”, and I don’t think Raposa would say that either, but if you’re going to get implants, be aware there is a very, very good chance you’ll have to remove them at some point in the future.
Interesting way to make money
Mike is helping pay his way through mechanical engineering school by selling pictures on his ES and modelling website. Two years ago he took off his right little toe (voluntarily), and then did another surgery to modify the scar, and finally a third one to shorten the stump again about eight months ago.

Forehead implants
I know that people have asked me to not post too many videos, and I’m trying to keep them fairly low in the mix, but I thought I’d also share with you this clip from Monkys Body Mods in La Serena, Chile of him doing a pair of central forehead implants at his studio/clinic.

One cut at a time…
So a friend of mine has been slowly separating the head of his penis from the shaft. When he’s got it far enough, it’s coming right off (slow and “safe”). As a point of trivia, when you amputate the glans, erections can become much firmer in many individuals. Oh, and as a secondary point of trivia, Todd Bertrang — who could really use our letters — has done a similar modification, but with the purpose of allowing the glans to move separately from the shaft.
Clit-knocker Dermal Anchor?
I like this piece conceptually a lot, but I’m not sure that a dermal achor can take that kind of abuse? I guess we’ll find out, but personally I think a piercing would be how I’d go for this modification… Although if it this works it’s much prettier. Procedure by Didier at Enigma San Diego, CA.
Transdermal and subdermal implants
OK, I really do have to go to bed (trying to force an early night), but someone was asking me earlier about people with both transdermal implants and subdermal implants in their heads, so let me post Greg’s super cool looking work by Steve Truitt. The material in this case for the subdermals is carved Teflon.
Blood and Needles
I feel like I’ve been neglecting the “BMEgirls” department a little lately with all the tattoos I’ve been posting. Don’t worry, I haven’t gone over to the darkside mainstream.
Let me share with you two quick pictures. On the left is a photo that’s either a killer turn on or turn off for you depending on your kinks — thanks to Nyne for this DIY tongue splitting photo from Vancouver. And thanks to Britt Laird in Houston, TX for the 29 needle photo of Sarah on the right.
