I looooooove these silicon temple ridges that Bruno (BrunoBMA.com) at Ghirigori Family Body Adornment in Lecco, Italy did. Great look!

“Healthy” Magnetic Implant Removed
The waste material you see below is all that was left of a magnet that had been in place for quite a while that was removed as part of testing — James Wisniewski, who removed the implant, writes,
“These are the remains of a single magnet implanted in a finger tip. The magnet has broken down, but left the surrounding tissue intact. This magnet was in for over eight months and there were no visible signs indicating any problem with the magnet. The removal was to check on the condition of these experimental magnets along with the interior pocket of tissue which it sat in.”
I’ll say again: the functional effects of the magnetic implants are absolutely wonderful, but their current stability and safety level is far from making them acceptable for general use in my opinion.
Hearts Galore
Scarred, implanted, and tattooed hearts on Princess Anna.
Transdermals can be trouble
An active lifestyle will probably make your life longer, but the counterpoint is that it’ll make your piercings’ and implants’ lives shorter… Tiff says that’s exactly what led to the demise of her paired transdermals — you can see how far they’d rejected in the first two shots. Tom Brazda (TomBrazda.com — he also removed my magnets) removed them for her while he was guest spotting at Eternal Ink in Sheffield, UK.
Horny, beady-eyed dude
Howie and Quentin in the UK did the work on Captain Howdy — I especially like the eye orbit beads (which remind me of Cork‘s implants).
Big forearm implants…
…probably some of the biggest out there, originally done for Nny Dresden by Pierre Black in Montreal. “Two years and counting and I still fucking love them,” writes Nny.
Earballs
inVivo had these “earballs” (bead implants along the upper ridge of the ear) implanted by Steve at O-R-R in Antwerp, Belgium. Seeing this it certainly drives home that another route to ear pointing is implants; these are beads of course but there’s no reason why it couldn’t be done with carved silicone over several generations to bring it to the desired contour. That said, cartilage is very sensitive! (For BME/extreme members, click here to read the experience on this mod)
Oh, Louie
Right now he’s fine with just cutting holes in his top and letting those perky little fellows peek out, but if Louie (MexicanMutant.com) doesn’t get a training bra for them soon, they might sag when he’s older. I don’t know if he minds though. Implants by Steve Haworth in Phoenix, AZ.
Etienne’s Big Horns
Etienne just had these large horns done by Lukas Zpira… They look amazing along with his full facial tattoos (a good combination as usual, in my opinion; see also Bruce Potts, before and after his facial implants under his similar tattoo).
Get you love drunk off my hump.
I find this photo humorous for many reasons but thanks to Will Ferrell, all I can think of is that song…
I’ma get, get, get, get, you drunk,
Get you love drunk off my hump.
My hump, my hump, my hump, my hump, my hump,
My hump, my hump, my hump, my lovely little lumps
They say I’m really sexy,
The boys they wanna sex me.
They always standing next to me,
Always dancing next to me,
Tryin’ a feel my hump, hump.
Lookin’ at my lump, lump.
My hump, my hump, my hump, my hump,
My lovely lady lumps (lumps)
