New BME swag

I don’t normally promote specific BMEshop products here because, well, it’s kind of tacky to blogspam your own swag, but I really like the way these last two shirts turned out. First is a redraw of the old “Dr. BME” logo by me, and we’ve put it on long-sleeves with a please-don’t-sue-us-Red-Cross arm print… As modeled by tcie (and you can click on either of them to go to their BMEshop page):

Next is the BME Aotearoa design, drawn by iam:original_sly (and prepared for printing by Jasonthe29th) to celebrate his local heritage.

Transdermals can be trouble

An active lifestyle will probably make your life longer, but the counterpoint is that it’ll make your piercings’ and implants’ lives shorterTiff says that’s exactly what led to the demise of her paired transdermals — you can see how far they’d rejected in the first two shots. Tom Brazda (TomBrazda.com — he also removed my magnets) removed them for her while he was guest spotting at Eternal Ink in Sheffield, UK.

I’m not sure if she’s escaping to Chicago or somewhere else because I don’t recognize the orange tag so I don’t know where she’s traveling between… Anyway, you either think my caption is very clever or it makes no sense?
