Now that’s a bloody nose

Seeing as how the last post was all about fighting, let’s keep the theme going.  I remember when I was a young kid, my dad told me if I ever got into a fight to hit the other kid square in the nose.  It’ll drop them to the ground and fill their eyes with tears.

Now when Seeingred got punched in the nose, his eyes certainly watered up, and a lot of blood started flowing.  Of course he got his nose punched a little differently than a couple of kids in a fight would be capable of.

Dorian Vilify from Custom Steel and Ink in Flint, MI was the guy who got to punch him in the nose..  with a 2g punch.

Put ‘em up

The lost art of fisticuffs.  Where men would settle their differences face to face, and not at 20 paces.  Nowadays we have MMA fighting where instead of standing on their feet facing their opponent, these men roll around on the ground giving each other hugs.  Who would have thought that the simple phrase “let’s hug it out” would transform the art of hand to hand combat into something so undignified.

Thankfully Xusha is here to show you the basics of the fighting, as well as the star implant she has.

Home is where the art is

Few things are as visually distinctive as a skyline.  To many, they’re a portrait of home, or at least their home city.  Sure there may be recognizable buildings that people will automatically identify with a city, but a skyline on its own gives the viewer the full picture.  Think of the NYC skyline.  It’s probably the most famous one in the world, simply because of how often it is used to reveal New York as the setting for a film.  Any movie filmed before 2001 had a distinctly different NY skyline than the one we see now, and people notice this because of how recognizable they are.  It’s like seeing the photo of a person you’ve known all your life only with a single feature drastically changed.

As you can see below, BadBadDreams has a strong connection to the city of Taipei, Taiwan.  Ainslie Heilich from Vintage Karma in Stroudsburg, PA was the artist responsible for creating this reproduction of the Taipei skyline on their arm.

skyline

Does the city you live in have a distinctive skyline?  I know that Toronto’s skyline is pretty recognizable, even though in the past 5 years it has changed dramatically with the building of a lot of high-rise condos right in front of Canada’s wang (the CN Tower).

Puppy Love

Last week we got a chance to see the beautiful Karina in the middle of a suspension.  This week things are a little bit mellow as she’s lounging around at home.  She also happens to have one of the most adorable pugs I’ve seen in a while.

I’m pretty sure anyone would be that happy laying next to her.

What’s that you say?  You want to see another picture of her?  Keep reading to see exactly why the puppy is smiling.

Oh Brazil, why is your gene pool so incredible?

The doctor is in

The Italian Stallion is back with yet another fantastic scarification piece.  This scar/ink rubbing combo of a plague doctor is creepy and awesome all at the same time.  When you think back that at one point in time doctors actually would wear masks like this, it makes you wonder why they don’t now.  I mean if Nostradamus wore one, then why can’t Dr. Phil?  Sure some kids may be slightly traumatized, but what’s the sanity of a few children compared to the overall coolness of the plague doctors.

Ink rubbings aren’t a common submission so it’s always nice to see them sent in.  Hopefully we get some images as this heals for a Friday Follow-up

The mods on the man behind those other mods we featured

You can hardly go a week without seeing the name Efix pop up here. What can I say, the man does beautiful work and he takes the time to submit the images to BME. Yet this post isn’t about the beautiful work he does, it’s about the beautiful work he wears.

When I saw this tattoo as an avatar on the main page of IAM, I clicked it without even noticing the name. I just wanted to see this bright beautiful tattoo in a bigger picture. Then I noticed who it was on, shot him a message and asked his permission to use it. He gladly obliged and let me know his entire torso, throat and arms were  done by Jay Marceau of Quebec City Canada.

The Bloody Guess What Game (Results)

Today’s game was a little messy, and quite a bit bloody, but now it’s time to really see where all this blood is coming from.  Before we get to the results, let’s take a quick look back at today’s game.

Round one

Round 1

Round two

Round 2

Round three

Round 3

With today’s themed game, you can pretty much assume that the full photos are going to be portraying some risky behaviours.  Consider this your warning if you have any problems with that.

And with that, time is up, keep on reading to see how you did.

Now a few people guessed that the first round was of a penis, or possible ball nailing.  Well they got the nailing part right, just the wrong part of the body.  From the male torture gallery comes a photo of one man’s nipple torture session.

Round 1

With round two, the blood was certainly flowing.  Although there was no physical body part shown, all that blood did have to come from somewhere, and in this case it was from Yoshi’s partial subincision.

Round 2

For round three I went back a little bit to some photos sent in a while ago by lucyneckface.  One of the photos was previously featured on ModBlog, but with this shot it gives you a better look at the effect lucyneckface and the photographer were going for.  It should go without saying, but I’ll say it anyway, bloodplay is extremely dangerous behaviour and shouldn’t be done by anyone that doesn’t know all of the risks involved, especially in a situation like this where the intent was to create a “blood fountain”.

Round 3

So, how did you do?  I don’t expect to get too many perfect scores, especially considering how little skin was actually shown in the cropped photos.

Also, what did you guys think of the themed game?  Would you want more like this, or should I just stick to the normal images?

The Bloody Guess What Game (Round 1)

This week’s game is going to be a little different than the others.  Normally the cropped image is of some form of modification and your job is to guess what it is.  Well this week, instead of trying to identify the modification, you’re going to be guessing where the blood is coming from.

Yep, you read that right.  All of today’s pictures have one thing in common, a lot of blood.  Of course the term “a lot” is subjective, but it’s safe to assume that whatever is in the images is more than just a scratch.  You won’t be getting any hints today either as the cropped photos are a lot bigger than normal.  Just remember, you’re trying to guess what body part is the source of the blood in the photo.  At the end of the day, you’ll get to see how well you did when the results are posted.

So here’s your first photo..

Guess what
