It’s no secret that I really like x-rated tattoos, assuming they’re well done and sit nicely on the body. Slave Butterfly‘s ever-growing highly explicit tattoo was one of the pieces of artwork that inspired me — I’m a huge fan of her aesthetic.

DIY Ear Explosion
As Morgan discovered, you can’t force your ears to stretch! That said, figuring out where your body’s limits are is part of the learning process if DIY is your thing. Still, there’s something to be said for taking it really slow — either way, her ear is just fine now, although she lost about a 1/16″ in size from this.
Meaty Tattoo
This steak tattoo is by Jose at Action Tattoo in Audburn, Washington… The wearer explains, “I’m a piece of meat — at least thats what my mom says!”
Fuck Chase!
“Just kidding”, says Casey. “I got this for my best friend and the topic of a lot of discussion on BME recently.”
Tattoo by Rodney at American Pin-Up in Port Orchard, Washington. For context, see also: Chase’s nuts, zero-gravity Chase, Loud, Proud, and Punk, and an apology.
Have you met Mute-One?
There are a lot of celebrities (well, let’s at least say “microstars”) that lurk on IAM because they’re body modification or body play fans… Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick recently bumped into MUTE-ONE (of Cutthroat Tattoo in Milwaukee, WI) and sent in the photo on the left, and a few days later, Ethan Zohn (you may remember him from Survivor Africa) sent in his encounter with the same blade-cheeked fellow.
…wait, I may have gotten that backwards…?

“Arte Perversa”
This photo has been mirrored — when Brenno (say hi to him at APP) from Body Factory in Trieste, Italy did this skin removal, it was reversed so the wearer could read it in the mirror. I assume no one needs a translation.
What do you do when your PA tears out?
Well, let’s rephrase that for the folks who are like, “cool, a free meatotomy” — what do you do when your PA tears out and you wish it hadn’t? I didn’t ask Chrom (from Hell in Prague) how it happened — he just writes, “bloody mishap!” — but you can see it here torn [1], being prepped for a re-stitch [2], stitching complete [3], and right after the stitches were removed [4].
Seven Months
Kiki sends in this nice bath-tub photo of her chest tattoo during pregnancy (tattoo done by Valerio at Evil Machine in Rome, Italy).
More TeamBME members
On the left, fatal1ty from Russia, tattooed by anti_glam at Tattoo Dragon in Moscow, and on the right, yellowman from Canada, tattooed by Wendy Hollin at Darkside Tattoo and Piercing in Hamilton.
It’s really amazing how many people have BME tattoos these days! Even I do, although I’m sort of behind the times. It’s actually a kind of a neat — and weird — feeling looking at these tattoos and my tattoo at the same time, knowing that the same image (or the same idea?) is physically imprinted in each of the group.
