Winnipeg Urethral Reroute

There are a lot of reasons that people do urethral reroutes, but I think my favorite by far on a conceptual level is removing urination from the genitals — a friend of mine once explained, “it transforms the penis into an instrument exclusive to love”. Fyrezice (who has quite a few really great genital modifications) is wearing a titanium reroute ring in this picture — the ampallang bar keeps the loop from rotating.

What are you having for dinner?

Let me remind you, if you can’t handle it, please, don’t click and don’t comment.

For a quick “why”, some people like to push the sensations of their sexual experiences farther than what vanilla sex can provide, and to do so, one has to figure out how to integrate pain and all other sensations and emotions into the mix to get the most intense experience. I always wonder why people have trouble understanding that or get upset when they’re exposed to it — it’s not as if the concept is alien in other arenas, most obviously things like extreme sports (freeclimbing for example), and of course most body ritual (suspension and so on) also gives a hint of the same phenomena as well.

Gorgeous Forehead Implants!

I think I posted the before picture of the big 1 1/4″ labret being put in the day before yesterday (sort of a funny photo) — thus the swelling — but I really wanted to share the after portrait because I really love the implants! These were implanted by Steve Haworth and made custom for him by Jesse Jarrell. Forehead reshaping (be it by implants, piercings, tattoos, scars, whatever) is one of my favorite body modifications…

Cao: Growing up kinky in Borneo

(from the interview; click through to read it and come back to comment)

Cao is a friend of mine that grew up and still lives in Borneo where he has a “normal” professional career. You’d never guess — but that’s almost always the case — that under his pants his genitals have gone through a series of modifications, and that he’s had a fetish for them since he was young. This interview is an excerpt from my upcoming book, but I wanted to print it now because I heard a recent Jim Ward interview in which he opined that piercing had moved from the sexual arena into the aesthetic, which made me think of many older friends like Cao who are still very much motivated purely by their sexual eccentricities.

Although the face of body piercing is certainly very visibly aesthetic, I still think his story will feel very familiar to many readers…
