Still Beautiful

You may have noticed that this day has been chock full of BMEBoys and Girls, and with good reason.  They’ve all submitted pics in the past week.  For the most part, the pictures that are posted on ModBlog come directly from the BME Galleries, which means it’s up to you, the readers, to send in the photos that you want to see.  Uploading photos to BME is really easy too.  Just log in to your BME account, go to your profile page, click on “Media“, and then click on Add New: Photos on the right side of the screen.  From there you just upload your photos.  Of course you can also upload videos and stories as well.  And that’s it.  Once the photos go through the queue they’re up on BME for everyone to see, and from there can be posted on ModBlog.  You don’t even need a paid subscription to send in photos, just sign up for a free account to be able to send them in.

Now, all that said, I’d like you to meet StillyoungStillbrainless. She sent in this photo of herself, taken by Shelby Hale.  With all the attractive people posted today, you can easily see why I saved her for last: she’s a beautiful girl, in a beautiful photo.

What a great way to end an already great day.

Did someone call for more BMEGirls?

Well if nobody did, too bad, you’re getting more anyway!  This time we’ve got two beautiful BMEGirls to close out the week.

First up is Shanna, who we first saw a couple of weeks ago.   This time around she’s showing off her kitty, as well as giving us another great look at her tattoos and piercings.

Next up is a photo sent in by justaburde, crediting Kevin Kusulas as the artist for what I’m assuming is the shoulder tattoos.

No-shave November

With all this talk of Movember, it’s sometimes easy to forget those among us who don’t just grow in a mustache in November.  Take KingFrankWaits for example, he’s rocking an expertly curled ‘stache that blends in well with his beard.  I’m guessing that the purplish mark around his nostril piercing means he just had it done shortly before this photo was taken.

He also looks like a genuinely happy guy, which is always nice to see.  And given how many e-mails I got this month asking for some bearded boys, I’m pretty sure there will be some other happy people when they see this photo.

More Movember Madness

With every mustache there is the chance for a beard.  ICollectTheDead shows us just how much that is true.  Looking very dashing (and a little psychotic) in his suit, he’s proving that one can have multiple labret piercings and a beard without the two conflicting.

The madness isn’t over yet.  Coming up later today, my choices for best mustache and beard combo, as well as best overall mustache for the month.

I don’t think that’s where that goes!

Enemy sent in this photo of himself.  From what I gather, the piercings were all completely self done.  His lobes are at 7/8 and his septum is at 7/16.  I wanted to post the photo because high nostrils don’t come in very often.  I want to say this is still a fairly uncommon piercing but given where I live, I’m not sure if that’s accurate or simply my perception.   What about you, ModBloggers?  Would you say this is uncommon or do you see high nostrils with some frequency where you live?

I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that he doesn’t normally wear what appears to be a piece of pipe a sharpie in his septum and that this was just for the photo.

The BMEBoys were feeling left out

With all the BMEGirls posted today, it’s only fair we end the day with a superb shot of Pasha and his piercings.  This BMEBoy even caught the attention of Jen, who e-mailed me to let me know about him.   I can’t say I blame her.  It’s a fantastic shot, hauntingly beautiful, and it shows off not only his impressive lobes, but also his stretched septum.  Ok, enough with the talk, enjoy the photo.

Things are looking up

Continuing with today’s marathon of BMEGirls, we have an anonymous uploader who has a passion for body modification.  Now in her comments she mentions that she “doesn’t have the most impressive piercings”, to that I say “so what”.  While ModBlog does tend to favor posting images of some of the more drastic modifications, that doesn’t mean the entire community is heavily modified.  It’s been discussed before about what constitutes body modification, especially in cases where journalists make wild claims about how everyone who is modified has something wrong.  The fact is, even the act of cutting ones hair is a way to modify themselves.  What matters most is how the person feels about themselves, and if choosing to modify their body through piercings, tattoos, scars, etc is what they choose to do, then we as a community embrace them, regardless of the level of modification they have.

When it comes down to it, we have a beautiful BMEGirl, sending in a beautiful picture to the piercing galleries.

Smile with your eyes

So if you’ve ever sat through an episode of America’s Next Top Model, then you’ve probably heard the phrase “Smile with your eyes”.  According to Tyra, it’s a difficult thing for a model to master, and it is an invaluable tool for their careers.  Of course sometimes you don’t have to work to master it at all.  Take a look at Shanna here, she’s just naturally pretty, and her eyes are sparkling with a smile.  The fact that she has a lot of well done piercings and several tattoos doesn’t hurt either.

Her piercings and neck tattoos were done by Jeff from Heebee Jeebees, and her chest piece was done by Emily from To The Grave, both located in Colorado Springs.
