In the vein of posting people who look happy, I’d love to know what this gentleman is smirking about.

I’m sitting on a pile of tattoo photos that I wanted to post and I figured instead of spreading them out over a couple days, I’d do a nice big fat tattoo post. Hope you guys like it.
The first piece is by Matt Geiogamah of Club Tattoo in Tempe, AZ.

Now you know I can’t resist posting yet another Star Wars inspired tattoo. I’ll let you guys guess who this is supposed to be. Credit for the work goes to Leo Rojas Valenzuela out of Real Tattoo in Providencia, Santiago, Chile.

This big kitty came all the way from Japan. Naomisa wrote in “my lovi’n lovi’n lovi’n cats!!” and that’s about it!
This Dali portrait is brought to us by Mario Pullano of Pain & Pleasure in Sandusky, Ohio.

One of the names that popped up in the interview requests was Norm so it was great timing that his Vimby video just surfaced. I figured I’d post it, like I do with all of Vimby’s Tattooer Videos over here on Modblog to tied you over until BME can do it’s own interview with him. Norm’s script work has to be some of my favorite lettering out there. He’s developed a very beautiful style which gives a whole new meaning to black and grey lettering. He tattooed the palm of my hand a month ago which I’ve included after the jump.
You can check out more on his myspace or at Spotlight Tattoo in person here in Hollywood, California.
It’s not the best quality photo since I took it with my iPhone but like I said, his script is really beautiful. There is something elegant yet still jailhouse about it. The “Norm” on his palm and the “LA” on my wrist are both by Jack Rudy of Good Time Charlie’s TattooLand
Jordan posted these photos of the Enigma’s facial cuttings back in May but the man himself has sent in a new set from a different perspective. His cuttings are by Jawn D at Laughing Buddha with some help from Serana.
Couple more after the jump.

Since a lot of people have asked, I’m planning on including artists from all over the world through out our community. This isn’t going to be a tattoo artists only series, I just haven’t gotten to piercers and other body modification artists. BME covers everything inside of the modification world, I just happen to have started with the tattooers around me. I’ve been compiling a list of people to interview from the comments and suggestions that people have sent me. Thank you for all of your feed back and don’t forget to check out the other episodes we’ve done.
Mike Rubendall (Episode #4)
Henning Jorgenson (Episode #3)
Bugs (Episode #2)
Trevor McStay (Episode #1)
Sasha from Funhouse Tattoo of Vancouver, BC just finished up blowfaraway‘s back piece. That has to be an exciting feeling to bring such a large project to fruition.

Jesse-Lynn sent in some of her latest work. It happens to be well suited for BME and Modblog, what with being a peaCOCK of course. It’s late, or early depending on how you look at it but I thought it was amusing to see the recent influx of peacock tattoos. They’re a beautiful bird. I’ve seen some really shitty interpretations of this bird but luckily this isn’t one of them. If you want to catch up with Jesse-Lynn, you can find her at Oceans of Ink in Sussex, NB or through her IAM page.
Joao is contributing to my new found love and fascination with Brasil. This shot is from Petropolis, if I’m reading that right because google is being a jerk and telling me it doesn’t exist.

I had this whole post about Anna and her pug Heinz and why he looks so weirded out, it was even kind of funny. Then I don’t know what happened but it didn’t get saved and I figure it’s probably for the best. I’m sure the older draft is going to pop up after I post this one but I figure Anna is beautiful enough to be posted without further rambling by me.
