These days its all about the friendship tattoos. Especially when they involve blacking out an entire digit.
Lucass (the toe) and his friend Brad decided to get these tattoos prior to Brad moving away to Seattle.
The tattoos were done by Sylvia and Ken from Nathan’s Anthems in Redding, CA
Taking a quick look at Bridge’s IAM page you can see just how much he has transformed himself over the years. His latest addition is some heavy blackwork done on his skull and neck by Marc from Swastika Freakshop in Germany.
Back in June we caught a glimpse of Borneoscorpion2008′s impressive thunderbird genital tattoo. Well it turns out that the thunderbird is just one part of a larger suit. I had to do a little blurring, so to see the unblurred version just click through.
Here’s some great blackwork/dotwork from Marc of Swastika-Freakshop. And before anyone even thinks to say it, no this isn’t a nazi symbol.
While I’m sure some of you might be expecting a video game related post with that headline, the fallout I’m referring to is happening on ChrisB‘s arm.
As Chris’ branding heals, the ink that was branded over will fall out, leaving a nice negative space flower on his arm. As many of you with brandings know, they hurt, a lot. So who was it that got to torture Chris? None other than Brian Decker. Which of course brings us back to the title, as Brian and Chris both work and live in New York City. You can see more of Brian’s work in his BME portfolio gallery.
Continuing with today’s parade of BMEBoys and Girls, we’ve got Ilja vs. The Baron in a battle to the death. Two men enter, one man leaves. Place your bets now, who do you think will emerge triumphant from the bloodbath?
For some reason, when I first saw these photos, the camp song “Black Socks” got stuck in my head.
These were sent in by Marcd to the tribal and blackwork gallery, although I don’t know if he’s the artist or the owner of the legs.
The artist formerly known as IAM:omglolzroflmao has packed up his bags and moved to the cold northern wilds of Edmonton, Alberta. But just because he’s in the cold, doesn’t mean he doesn’t heat up the town when he goes out.
See, no matter where Chris goes, the party is sure to follow. That dashing young man on the left happens to be the one and only Alfonso Ribiero, star of Silver Spoons, and some show about a rapper. I’ll let you guys and gals decide which one of them is the BMEBoy.
Oh, and I would be remiss not to point out Chris’ black arm in progress, as well as his BME Calm logo tattoo on his neck.
