“We were wandering around manhattan and randomly saw the Macy’s and went to find Santa where we then stood in a crazy long line. The Santa was super creepy and touchy and had AWFUL breath. But it was still awesome since it was my first picture with Santa ever!”

I first met Penguin Boy when I worked at Art With A Pulse in Glen Burnie, MD. The shop owner bet me he could do a full sleeve from scratch in less than an hour on a client of his….I fell for it, he won the bet.
Since then Penguin Boy (Jason Brott) has made quite a name for himself in the sideshow world travelling with the Hellzapoppin Sideshow.
Here he is doing a 2 point suspension as photographed by our very own Allen Falkner.

Fredl of Art & Soul in Mannheim, Germany is the artist credited for the work below. This is probably one of the more extensive “skin rip” tattoos that I’ve seen. While anatomy tattoos aren’t very common, the few people sporting larger pieces tend to have them extremely detailed. I’d be interested to know if he worked off of any specific resource material or came up with the design based on the wearers own muscle tone and flow. It seems to work pretty well. There’s a little implanty goodness if you go ahead and click through.
I’m not sure if any of you have noticed but there are a lot of photos on BME of body suits or back pieces where the person who submitted the photo put a black bar across their buttcrack. To me this actually brings more attention to the fact that a buttocks was even in the photo so I was pleasantly surprised when Diau Chuan, the artist responsible for the tattoos below, didn’t stop us from having our daily dose of rear end nudity.
I think that if the first thing you saw in the morning was someone who looked genuinely happy then you’d have a really good day. dead filmaker is helping me test out my theory. I know it put a smile on my face to start the morning off right.

Nothing like having your browser crash and losing all the posts you’ve been working on despite having saved them already. I don’t know what kind of sexually suggestive comments I inappropriately made previously about dandy ruby leigh but I’m sure they were positive. Her tattoos are by Jay philbrick in Lawrence, Mass. I pretty much hate the internet today and I’m going to be smashing bits and pieces of it for the next couple of hours.

Anna is no stranger to Modblog and she continues to be strikingly gorgeous. She’s one of a few girls that serve as an inspiration to make a BMEGirls/BMEboys calendar. If I want to get it done in time though I’ll need to act fast. Send your submissions to [email protected] to be included for consideration. Everyone who is included in the calendar will receive a couple in trade!
I also wanted to remind everyone that the end of the year is coming. Submissions will be cut off on December 20th as far as counting towards the year end awards. So check the leaderboards to see where you are. The top 20 contributors for photos and experiences will receive a limited edition 2009 Year End Award Contributor shirt. We will also be taking off for the holidays and may or may not be able to update Modblog during that time as we’ll be spending the last week of December and the first two weeks of January converting to the new platform. The last day to make orders from BMEshop will also be on the 20th as well. You can continue to place orders during the holidays but they won’t be shipped out until the 28th if you place them after the 20th. If you’re making purchases internationally, please consider making them as soon as possible as the USPS will not guarantee their international delivery times during the holidays.

Dark Freak is certainly looking the part for his IAM name. Thiago Marzano snapped this shot of him in Brasil and it definitely doesn’t change my opinion that all of the BME Brasilian members are either heavily modded, good looking or both. 2010 is going to be a busy year because I already have plans to go to Japan, Italy and most certainly I’ll be heading to Brasil. I’m hoping we can put together a big Brasilian BME BBQ because that would be tons of fun. I can only imagine what beautiful tropical setting we can fill with BME’ers!

joao_caldara sent in these photos of his adorable son, ThÈo. They’re in Petropolis, Brasil which google tells me today does exist, it’s not just some evil villians hide away in some obscure comic. This is what I plan to do all weekend since I’ll be hanging out with my own little princess all week.
I’ve got to go back to laying on the floor playing with animals that eat people who eat fairies and continue to be the faerie protector and get all the snuggles I can. Catch up with you on Monday.
