To lighten the mood somewhat here’s the latest update on my hair project (you know what I’m doing by now, right?)..
Here’s your chance to mock me, use it wisely!
The Lizardman (currently doing a Canadian tour with The Great Orbax — see updates on the Lizardman Flickr page and of course on TheLizardman.com) recently updated us with another in his Q&A series (my apologies for the slight delay in posting it). Click on through to read it now.
Following on from this post, as promised here I am on day fifteen!
If you’re bored whilst IAM’s offline — Donating money to a good cause is a nice way to pass the time.
Shawn Porter (scarwars.org) writes,
This weekend I was lucky enough to host piercer/Scarification artist John Joyce at my appointment only Xanadont Studios in always sunny Philadelphia. In between cuttings, I was able to spend some one on one time with him discussing the art, business and the state of the emerging Scarification Culture. John had a fascinating insight into the current school of cutters, and a few choice words of warning to the up and coming ranks inspired by some of the achievements of his generation. All in all, an amazing visit by a true professional. I highly recommend anyone interested in the ART and culture of Scarification to sit down with John and be prepared to listen, learn and laugh.
John Joyce will be cutting by appointment only at the SCARwars 2007 event in Philadelphia. Contact him for appointment availability and requirements.

Hi, I’m Roo.
I’ve shaved daily since puberty (I’m now 28) and I can’t stand hair of any type, unless it’s on a cat, a dog or a rabbit.
Purely in the spirit of adventure and charity I’ve decided to raise money for the Toronto Humane Society (who do sterling work finding homes for all sorts of animals, amongst other things) by not shaving or cutting anything above my neckline for four months, or longer if the donations keep coming in!
Therefore, if you’ve ever wanted to know what a Roo looks like with four months of face and head growth, give me your monies! Even if it’s just pocket change. You can also sponsor me to shave it off, of course.
So, if you enjoy cats, dogs, me*, rabbits or the videos I post on here and BMEvideo you can donate wildly using the button at the bottom of this entry.
There’ll be an update on my progress on ModBlog and on my IAM page every two weeks.
Thank you everyone, I love you.
*Note – You can still donate if you don’t like me. Rest assured I’m not going to enjoy this process one bit and I’ll look pretty ridiculous throughout!
I think it’s rather funny MissDuveaux, Lefrog, Christiane, Ilya, Allen (who’s got quite infected on the long ride home), Muffe, Havve, and others decided to brand themselves at the Oslo Suscon BBQ, oldschool style, since they’re all people that should “know better”. But really, sometimes that’s when doing silly things is by far the most fun… Ah, fond memories of watching Surburbia as a kid… TR!
If you thought there were no alternative clubs in Jaffa, think again..

As a point of trivia, The Dungeon Club (14 Kikar Kdumim, Old Jaffa) where this performance by Captain Howdy took place is the first Jewish S&M venue in Tel Aviv!
Elles took this photo (and you can click through for a second) at this year’s Thaipusam Festival in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
You have until noon EST on Monday, June 25 to confirm your ModProm ticket! After that, there will be no way to get a ticket because Phil and I will have confirmed our numbers with the caterers. CLICK HERE TO GET YOUR TICKET! If you can not place your purchase online because you don’t have a credit card, please email me.
I may have a small number of spots that I can give away (but no promises!). If you really want to come, and have a formal outfit of some type to wear, and really can’t afford it, please email me and include why you want to come. If you’re a regular BME supporter, I’ll do my best to help. Write me ASAP though if you want to do that.
Other than that, bmefest.com will have the last minute details on it all. Now please go get your ticket before it’s too late!
