Red Sweat

We do our best to give credit where it’s due whenever possible when we feature folks on ModBlog, but sometimes, if only a little information is included with people’s photo submissions, there’s only so much we can do. This, unfortunately, is one of those times, as the only supplementary information accompanying this series of shots was a mention that they came from Japan. But, hey, when you’ve got a bunch of good looking implants (the eye implant after the jump is pretty intense) like this, you just put it out there and hope someone claims it. Until that day, though, thank you, stranger! As mentioned, more after the jump.

An Unnnoticed Breeze

Greetings, friends! The inimitable Steve Haworth checks in with this photo of his old friend Oak, the co-owner (along with his wife, Bleu) of Painted Temple in Provo, Utah (which Steve calls “one of the more amazing tattoo shops [he’s] been in, both in artists and beauty”), sporting brand new rows of spines in his forearm, courtesy of Steve. The horns, though? All natural, shockingly.

Complication With My Complication

Continuing on with today’s trend of featuring folks who surely complain about the heat much less than I do, here we have xFABIx, coming live and direct (?) straight from Natal, Brazil. What’s not to like here, folks? Lovely model, healthy piercings all over the damn place, clean tattoo work, a nice set of subtle implants—if this isn’t doing it for you, Dr. Ginsberg recommends you check yourself for heat stroke, which you almost surely have.

Baby, Let’s Transverberate

It’s always a joy when supremely talented artists also have the presence of mind (and talent) to send in great photos too, is it not? Needless to say, we were tickled to get this shot of Dani Danger, courtesy of the hot-handed Steve Haworth and featuring custom ear jewelry and an implant by the man himself. Plus, of course, we also get to use our “Hearty Mohawks” tag for the second time in two weeks, and that, well…that’s just swell.

Sweet Lincoln’s Mullet

Last week, we mentioned Nae‘s gigantic silicone hand implants by Brian Decker and, apparently, ’tis the season, since the lovely Cour has checked in with this shot nicely displaying her very well-healed anchor implant by none other than Mr. Decker himself (previously, albeit slightly more obscured). And hey, if this sort of thing is up your alley, don’t forget to book an appointment with Brian for his trip to Columbus, Ohio, from July 29 to August 4. It’s just a good idea, alright?

Coming Soon to a Bordello Near You Columbus, Ohio: Brian Decker!

Get excited, Ohioans! The littlest king of Brooklyn, Brian Decker of Pure Body Arts is packing up his hobo bindle and taking his show on the road! Next stop, Columbus, Ohio, from July 29 to August 4. Book your appointments as soon as possible, as these suckers are bound to fill up fast. In the mean time, check out the above video, courtesy of Nae, showing off her fancy (and healed, and gigantic) silicone hand implants courtesy of Mr. Decker (installation shown here). After the jump, a few stills of her hands in all their flowery glory.

A Hundred Souls and a Hundred To Go

The last time we saw Cookie, we caught a glimpse of some of her 3D implants and scarification work, but, quite frankly, that was just the tip of the iceberg as far as her rather intense and extremely impressive body of modification work goes. The implants are (obviously?) by her husband, the illustrious Steve Haworth, tattoos by Nicole McCord, and the scar work you can see is by our favorite ubiquitous Australian, Wayde Dunn, at the Haworth Mod Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. More pictures, of course, after the jump.

Stripped to the Bone

“Jordan,” the commenters ask, “you know how we enjoy the backpieces, the majestic suspension pictures and the breathtaking scarification work, but where are all the wangs?” Well, ask and you shall receive, gentle commentariat. Here we have Alex, he of Brussels, Belgium, sporting two 6 mm. rod and bead implants apiece, to say nothing of the all-seeing eye at the head of the class there. The implants almost remind me of simple runes, but the eye? The eye knows you’re afraid.

Far From Cliff or Scar

Good day, ModBloggers! Here we have old friend of BME, Lassi, he of the Mundus Absurdus boys, sporting some shiny new horns (screwed into transdermal implants, natch) and inspecting the integrity of that glass baton he’s got there. And all that glass there, teardrops in his ears included? All custom-made by the illustrious Jason of Gorilla Glass. After the jump, another shot of Lassi, and hey, while you’re at it, take a peek at BMEshop’s Gorilla Glass selection (and anything else, for that matter) and, if you like it, pop in ilovebme as a discount code and you’ll get 15 percent off until tomorrow. Awesome? Awesome.

Spice Our Schedules

I swear, if young master xPUREx keeps it up, visiting his Williamsburg Pure Body Arts studio is going to be a mainstay checklist item for travelers coming to New York, right up there with poking around the Statue of Liberty, eating a slice of pizza from every parlor with “Ray’s” in the name and enduring crippling beat-downs after foolishly asking every woman in Times Square if she’s “working.” (Damn you, Giuliani!) Back to the issue at hand here, though, these implants are a nice fit, aren’t they? I guess that’s what one would expect with implantation by the aforementioned xPUREx and implant pieces carved* by Steve Haworth. Another shot, after the jump.

*Not carved! Says the implanter himself: “These pieces actually were not carved. Steve was nice enough to attach some rods and domes together with silicone in it’s liquid form as a “glue,” so that i wouldn’t have to carve them.” Thanks for the heads-up!
