Vimby Video – Norm AWR MSK

One of the names that popped up in the interview requests was Norm so it was great timing that his Vimby video just surfaced. I figured I’d post it, like I do with all of Vimby’s Tattooer Videos over here on Modblog to tied you over until BME can do it’s own interview with him. Norm’s script work has to be some of my favorite lettering out there. He’s developed a very beautiful style which gives a whole new meaning to black and grey lettering. He tattooed the palm of my hand a month ago which I’ve included after the jump.

You can check out more on his myspace or at Spotlight Tattoo in person here in Hollywood, California.

VIMBY – Norm MSK-AWR

It’s not the best quality photo since I took it with my iPhone but like I said, his script is really beautiful. There is something elegant yet still jailhouse about it. The “Norm” on his palm and the “LA” on my wrist are both by Jack Rudy of Good Time Charlie’s TattooLand

The dark is nice

This is a shot from an upcoming suspension documentary. The lovely lady all curled up for us is Star and apparently the folks who helped get get there were Circle23, Philly Chris,  John j, Danelle j, and  Pyrogen. Hopefully they’ll keep us updated on when the documentary is released and then we’ll pass that info on to you.

Since a lot of people have asked, I’m planning on including artists from all over the world through out our community. This isn’t going to be a tattoo artists only series, I just haven’t gotten to piercers and other body modification artists. BME covers everything inside of the modification world, I just happen to have started with the tattooers around me. I’ve been compiling a list of people to interview from the comments and suggestions that people have sent me. Thank you for all of your feed back and don’t forget to check out the other episodes we’ve done.

Mike Rubendall (Episode #4)
Henning Jorgenson (Episode #3)
Bugs (Episode #2)
Trevor McStay (Episode #1)

It’s been a while

I can’t remember the last time I posted a pecker on the ole Modblog so I figured today is as good a day as any and this pecker is pretty well modified. Personally I’m a big fan of any large gauge piercings that go through the head of a penis and I can vouch that it’s a good time for everyone involved. Though upon further inspection of the image in the full post, I don’t think this big boy would fit. Kudos to anyone who can take on this champ!

P.S. If tomorrow and Thursday’s updates are late or don’t get posted, it’s because I’m in the last big development meeting we’ll have before the new site/software launches so hold tight and don’t worry, you’ll get your daily dose of mods as soon as I get finished up!

Pedal Power

xomateo is definitely a Modblog regular. His newest mods are by Katie Gray at Chimera Tattoo & Studio. He has pretty nicely kept toes for being a pretty tough dude. I’m going to say he’s secure enough in his manhood that he’d probably go get a pedicure with me if I asked him to go. We could go to yogurtland afterward.

Daily dose of skin removal.

caleigh green had her cutting done by Efix while he was doing a guest spot at Tatouage Royal in Montreal. If you want to find him on a regular day, check out D-Markation in Quebec City.  There is something a little surreal about this photo. The texture in the skin removal section comes through. I feel like I can touch it.

Is that you Han?

I really debated on posting this tattoo. I thought the customizations on it were pretty funny but Han Solo’s features are a bit off. There is something too “ethnic” about his nose and lips to be an accurate portrait of Hans Solo/Harrison Ford. What I’m not sure of though if that’s on purpose because of the bling bling chain. So it’s either a “hilarious” take on a sci-fi tattoo portrait, or.. not.
