A few people mentioned in the comments for yesterday’s tiger post that they weren’t big on animal tattoos, but that that one had turned them into believers. Well, apparently Sean Karn at Fuzion Ink in Norfolk, Virginia, wasn’t satisfied with converting just a few of you, so he’s shared this wildlife sleeve, which is really just pages from National Geographic that he glued to a client’s arm is one of the nicest pieces I’ve probably ever seen. Also, that morose water buffalo on top looks like it could use a hug.

This great backpiece was done by Matt Cunnington at Westside Tattoo in Brisbane, Australia. If you don’t know who old frowny-face in the center is, that’d be Raijin, the mythological Japanese god of lightning and thunder, who, later in life, took starring roles (sometimes under his stage name, Raiden) in video games such as Mortal Kombat, Final Fantasy and several other things I just read on Wikipedia. Fresh from the rolling hills of Kentucky comes this lovely microdermal project by Robby at Studio Ink in Lexington, Kentucky.
Well, this impressive. The ihung folks have been working with a gentleman named Ivan who conceived of this 25-foot-tall PVC-pipe dome structure, which is apparently based on some manner of sacred geometry forms, and have put it to use for suspension purposes. Rumor has it, they’ll be building an even bigger one this weekend at the Dallas SusCon. More photos, after the jump.
