Hey now, it’s been a while since we’ve checked in with La Negra and her pals, eh? Time to correct that! Here we have some shots of Towa‘s first suspension, facilitated by the aforementioned La Negra, as well as Valnei and photographed by Martinetik. First suspension ever, surrounded by a crew like that and wearing a jaunty ascot to boot? That’s a recipe for a good time, folks. Ha, what a lovely coincidence—for the second week in a row, we kick off our Friday with a nice young lady with an upper-body bird tattoo! This time around, it’s the peacock-feathered rarr.ae generously housing a small hummingbird on her right rib (among other piece not quite visible in this photo). Cute! The Cousin of Death

And finally, folks, as you prepare for bed or whatever it is you do once the sun goes down (rob blood banks?), here is your newest nightmare monster, some terrible devil-skull with human hands and the keys to, let’s see, Hades? Does Hades have keys? It does now, we guess, and that’s where this creature is taking you. Just follow the diamond. We’ll see you on the morrow.

Sliding The Sunfish

Hey, look at that punim! Apparently, the always-lovely babylovedoll has traded in her red/orange/raspberry swirl/etc. locks for a bright, summery blue, and we can’t help but approve. There aren’t many sure things in life, but death, taxes, the coming space monster war and adorable pictures from our model up there seem to be reliably constant. We’ll take it.

The Bones Of All

Hot on the heels of our esteemed religious coverage from earlier this week, Andrea at White Light Tätowierungen in Berlin, Germany, sends in this photo of a cutting she did months ago, well along into the healing process and looking pretty fantastic, yes? Yes. Sure, the Owl God is nowhere to be found, but He’s always there in spirit, hootin’ the night away, swooping down to swipe rats and beetles out of the soil for all of eternity, amen.

Mount The Stump

And here we have aloewishes, hanging out in his natural habitat (or at least a fair approximation at the Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago, Illinois), scoping out the goods on this big old prehistoric leaf and showing off dots of flesh removal beneath the eyes, two-inch lobes, a two-gauge philtrum, six-gauge nostrils and more. It’s Better Than Bad!

You know, even if this weren’t an excellent Ren and Stimpy reference (which it is), this would absolutely still get posted here, because is several hundred degrees of fantastic. (I am not always a man of particularly cerebral tastes.) It’s a log, in a tuxedo, drinking a martini! It doesn’t have a face! ISN’T THAT BIZARRE?

“Skipped town the other day to check out my friend’s brand spankin’ new new shop,” says the wearer of artist Rich Lambe’s Stay True Tattoo in St. Thomas, Ontario. “Somehow, it just seemed incomplete without getting a log wearing a tuxedo. So I did.” A fine choice, indeed!
